Good evening, dear friends. 

We have very important news, not even one. 

The post is long and informative. 

 

The first and most important thing is that we are closing the reception of orders again. And this time, most likely, finally and forever. 

 

Photographing itself will no longer work for us. Such a decision was made for a number of quite weighty reasons. 

The first and most obvious: we already simply do not have time to process all incoming orders. Believe me, high-quality processing of the screenshot, and indeed art itself, in principle, in any manifestation, requires a lot of time. Orders never get smaller. We always try to present really high-quality work, and this takes a lot of time. 

The more active the community, the more orders are received. Let us now remember that we have been processing screenshots for more than 2.5 years already. This is a decent time, and throughout this period the work has not stopped. We are exhausted, friends. Inspiration is never infinite. You yourself are tired already waiting for 2-3 months for your screenshots from the queue. More and more complaints are coming to us, time after time. 

The screenshots themselves will continue to come out, but their level will be equal to full-fledged art, because we have decided to raise the quality to the detriment of quantity. We think that this will be a good solution both for us and for you. 

Second: some people may look at it badly, perhaps with a smirk, or somehow look down on it, but I, like many others, are convinced: our community has long since become an average level of processing a screenshot. And sometimes it was this level that we had to show in order to manage to process custom screenshots, because there are a lot of them - and this is exactly what prevents our participants from revealing and showing their full creative potential. First of all, we are a creative association, not a Tank Online group. I want to emphasize this. 

As the head of this creative association, I am obliged to follow my members and take into account practically any trifle associated with both the participants and the community as a whole. And from here smoothly we pass to the third reason. 

Third: the constant repetition of the same process. Constantly doing the same thing - you get tired. Especially bad monotony of work affects the creative person. 

Creativity must be developed, otherwise it will be just a collection of well-known and boring stamps. And in order to develop a creative skill, there should be no deadlines for processing a screenshot or creating some kind of art, you should not be constantly twitching and asking "well, when will you finish?". There is a good saying: "Hurry up - make people laugh" And it is true. With great speed, you will not be able to show a good result, at least you could certainly do it better if you would spend more time. In our business, this is practically unforgivable, because we work for the people, in fact. And all this for free, without asking for anything in return. 

Unfortunately, for the sake of further development of our creative association, we will have to abandon the main creative direction to this day - photography. Previously, we did not interfere at the same time being engaged in photographing and post-processing, and with it - the creation of more complex, full-fledged artworks. But now everything is completely different. 

Fourth: both physical and spiritual fatigue. 

It's all easier. Our participants are, in the overwhelming majority, already adult enough for games and active playfulness in games. The reason for this is that our participants spend almost all their time studying in universities, and some already to work. And the rest of the time they either rest, or sit at Photoshop to do the processing / art. But if you can somehow fight physical fatigue, then the spiritual side is quite different. Referring to the third reason, I remind you: it is very difficult to do what you are doing for a long time. And we have been doing this for a long time. Perhaps, so long that we have

already definitely made our huge contribution to the development of a screenart in Tanki. I do not think that anyone will argue with this, given that in certain periods of time it was our community that set the “fashion of editing” 

Well, since we will no longer offer photo services, the name of the group will no longer justify itself. It will be changed soon to a more suitable one.

 

Well, one news told, now move on to the next. 

 

Almost 3 years have passed since the founding of Lanafles. From the very beginning and to this day we have a logo, but our most loyal subscribers know that it was conceived only as temporary, until we create the final new one. But after the founding, the community faced a lot of other problems and the creation of the logo went to the third or even the fourth plan. It was so until the winter of 2016-2017, the question of creating a new logo did not arise again. But it was then that the final decision was made that the logo would no longer be changed. 

Despite this, throughout 2018, talk about replacing the logo resumed. We decided to re-consider this issue. And, as you probably already guessed, we decided to replace our old logo with a new one. Soon we will present it to you. The logo came out so good that it definitely deserves a separate post . This post will be released, most likely, after the New Year. 

 

Now we note the important points: 

1) All orders that were accepted prior to the publication of this post, WILL BE PROCESSED. Do not doubt. 

2) The new logo will come into effect after we submit all the custom screenshots. So to say, we will show respect to the logo with which we have worked to this day. 

3) You probably noticed that non-core arts became more frequent in the community. Our participants try themselves not only in tanki art, but also simply create various kinds of content, including music. In the future we plan to develop these areas too :) 

 

At the moment this is all the most important, about which we considered it necessary to inform you. We hope for understanding from our subscribers, friends and just those who follow our creativity. 

As always - on the eve of the New Year we will sum up the results for the entire past year.

The year 2018 has come to an end. Observing the tradition, let's summarize the work done for the entire past year, and at the same time tell about the future plans of the community. Go!

 

The year began with a sudden shot of FLAPPER, right on January 1: the notion of "legionary" broke into the community. Legionnaires have become members of the basic composition, distinguished by a special skill and being the strongest artists of the community. More about this system, we have repeatedly told, so omit the details.

Held 3 mass photoshoots

Implemented a lot of interesting, colorful artworks

For the first time since the existence of the community, we had to temporarily suspend the acceptance of orders in order to have time to process those that already existed. After some time, taking orders was resumed again

Have posted a whole series of drawing articles for those who want to start drawing ✏ (https://vk.cc/8frUkC) [RU]

For the first time in the history of the community, we organized a creative contest called "Summertime", where they themselves were the judges of the competition

Have published an album with the best artworks for 2016

In October, we recorded 50,000 views on our Russian forum thread. This is remarkable by the fact that this is a record number of views in the "Your creativity" section at that time and even to this day

Organized a large contest of reposts with a prize fund of 100,000 crystals

⚠ And finally, the most important and important this year, a landmark event - the closing of orders for screenshots forever. Just a day before the New Year ⚠

 

In fact, despite such a list, 2018 in our community went very quietly and without surprises. Planned a lot of things, but many plans over time were canceled for various reasons. In the last months of 2018, we finally exhausted, as in the past year at the same time. We did not have time to do a lot of things, much even had to be canceled.

But all this is in the past.

In 2019, we are just waiting for a titanic work. We are preparing for very large projects. We have never set such a high level for ourselves; everything that we have done to this day doesn’t compare with what we are cooking now.

As promised, we present you a new logo of our creative community! 

 

✏ In order to create the right logo for us, we started from the ideology of our community: who we are, what our goal is, where we go. 

► Initial prototypes were based on Japanese writing, the so-called shodo-art. Having defined the prototype, we began developing a logo. The basis is 2 letters L, one correct, the other rotated horizontally. These are both the pillars on which the community rests, and our striving to the top, our irreconcilable desire to improve, and the protruding wings allow us to remain on top. A semicircle, like a rising sun from across the horizon, marks the dawn of our community, enclosed in a triangle - a symbol of energy and creativity. Our main goal is to make interesting and high-quality art, and despite all the obstacles we face, we will overcome them and go to comprehend new heights. 

It took a lot of time for all the ideas, development and "bringing to the mind" - 2 months.
