Keep Wasp M0 10/10 or upgrade to M3 and Thunder alteration

Just getting started with parkour mode.  While M0 wasp is great at flying with M3 thunder, I am having difficulty controlling it and righting it when on side.  Should I continue to practice or go ahead and upgrade to M3 wasp?

Other question is about Thunder alteration to remove self and splash damage.  Does it also affect recoil or impact force or are those characteristics kept unchanged?

Learning to correct your tank when landing sideways is a matter of practice, try flipping yourself sideways intentionally and then shoot at different angles to see what happens, eventually you'll get good at it and it won't be a problem anymore. I have Wasp m1 and Thunder m4 and I'm doing fine after I learned what angle is best to shoot at.

Also, fully upgrading your Wasp m0 will give you the speed, acceleration, turning speed, and health of Wasp m1 while keeping the original weight of m0 in parkour mode.

The alteration that removes splash damage also removes the splash impact force, so it's bad for parkour.

Good luck in your parkour career :P

My vote goes to upgrade. Good old GTT members never really use M0/M1 wasp as jumper, and you may do it that way aswell. Edit: typos

That's not really a reason not to use it, if someone else didn't use a lighter jumper it doesn't mean it's the right thing to do for everyone. FnF used an m1 jumper and it worked great, the fact is that it lets you make bigger jumps using the same amount of firepower, and lets you make some tricks that are completely impossible with wasp m3.

The only good things about wasp m3 are that it's faster (which mostly isn't better than being lighter), got more health, and that it looks better in videos when you use a heavier tank in your tricks.

You are right, parkour with m0 is just different than m3/4. It's just my taste & parkour style.

Thanks for the replies all.  I was really disappointed when I found there was no path to upgrade to M1 to continue MUing a bit more to something like Swift's.  I am going to stick with M0 for now and see if I can continue to improve.  Down the road maybe I will change my mind and get M3 or splurge and get XT wasp so have both options.

Re: righting tank, I am only playing in space mode.  I can right the tank from its side maybe 25% of the time which is very frustrating.  Same with landing on tracks from air... basically a crapshoot how I land.  The recoil-weight ratio is so high that any shots in the air that are not perfectly timed cause me to spin uncontrollably fast.  It is even difficult to just control the tank when I shoot on flat ground with both tracks down.  Guess it comes down to practice and whether I get the hang of it before it becomes not fun any more.

Honestly, I hate the M1 parkour. Much clubs are using M1 equipment and it's so ugly... It doesn't look like a pro in the video tho, I am for using the only M3 equipment! Be a pro, try to do parkour in a bit more difficult ways...

Lovely words. I think the same way. However, we do not despise anyone for using M0/M1. This is their decision.
