I do not understand the complaints:

 

If in real life shops get looted because of a unpurposfull mistake or accident and people shout they have earned or have a right for the things they took; do you still believe this is fair? It is a glitch and ofcourse people will take advantage of it. But it is a kind of looting and grabbing things for free that are not supposed to be free. Enjoy your raiding but do not be surprised or mad if the actual owner takes measures to control its damage and reclaim what has been taken unrightfully. Even if it is by their own mistake -this is not a reason to say it is your right to just grab whatever is in front of you. So stop complaining and just hope you ll stay off-radar ;-) BTW I wish everyone all the crystals and paints possible!! Does not affect my joy of playing a nice game at all

You are WAY off base here.  This is NOTHING like looting.  Looting is stealing an no one stole anything.  This is more like  company marking a product below cost by accident.  If a customer buys that product, he is not stealing it...he is paying the advertised price.  Retailers run into this lfrequently and 99.9% of the time just smile and absorb the loss.  On top of that, Tanki is not really losing ANYTHING...it's all pixels and electrons...has no intrinsic value...ZERO.

Earlier today, the new black boxes have appeared in the game. Purchasing containers in the Shop or catching these black boxes in the game would add 1 container to your Garage, and inside the containers you could find rare paints, Premium, crystals and more. 

 

The containers are a planned part of the Black Friday and will stay for the full duration of it. What we didn’t plan nor stopped in time was how many black boxes would be dropping. 

 

Because of the server mistake, black boxes would drop every few seconds, and in just a couple of hours some players caught hundreds. This was not intended to happen.

 

All containers and items found inside the containers during these 2 hours have now been removed. If you bought any containers, they will be added to your account.

 

Containers and black boxes are now extended until November 28th, 02:00 UTC.

 

Black Friday sale will not be extended and ends on November 25th, 02:00 UTC.

 

We apologize for the inconvenience this caused you and are working on bringing the servers back online as soon as possible.

Oh, it was a glitch? Well, that explains it. But it was real fun collecting all the boxes. I can understand if Tanki will take away our rewards, but on the other hand we all spent a LOT of supplies getting them.

 

Tanki, if you want to remove the rewards, at least let us keep the paints! That is fair, I think. I really want to keep the leopard paint, it makes my tank smooth and fluffy.
