Well, I'm not surprised that Tanki did the venal, stupid, rude, irresponsible thing and took back all the proceeds from their screwup.  

 

Why did it happen?  Tanki doesn't do any QA.  It's the same reason there are so many bugs in the program.  

 

But when you get cheated by Tanki because of one of the bugs - do they fix that?  No.  So when Tanki failure cheats you - it's okay.  When you get something from a Tanki failure to do their job right (by TESTING), you get cheated again.  The Tanki mentality appears to be irresponsible and to cheat the players.

 

I am not surprised.

People will be spending their crystals in containers hoping they get the rewards they want and many will become broke.

My post had NOTHING to do with keeping or removing the crates picked up.  it also had NOTHING to do with ease or difficulty in picking up crates.  My post, and tone of my post, was based on someone calling me and thousands of players "dishonest" and then later blaming players in the Black Rain for the 5 hours down time while Tanki fixed their mistake.  You might try reading a bit more carefully before barfing out sarcastic comments.

 

But, now that YOU bring it up, it was kinda hard collecting crates.  You know what one gold box brawl is like right?  Now, imagine doing that for two hours straight and tell me how easy the time passed.  It was tooth and nail. max drugs, max repair kits, max aggression the entire time...no it wasn't easy and I think that is one of the biggest reasons participants are angry...not really because of losing all the crates.

 

I personally think Tanki made the right call for once by recalling all the items and crates and I am grateful that they stepped up with some compensation...a pretty fair shake.  In retrospect, I am just happy I got to be part of The Black Rain.

So my post had NOTHING to do with it and then.... it actually had something to do with it.  OK.

 

And then there's this... "Now they have stepped up and given all the participants 24 hours of Premium as some small compensation (which is appreciated...thanks Tanki) but it still won't cover all the lost supplies and the time can never be replaced not to mention the dire disappointment. "

If you spent more supplies in that short time than you will make back with a day of 2x funds - you need help in supply management.

Just got home after being unable to play this morning, and hearing about the guys who went on a feeding frenzy.

 

Have to say the posts where they whinge about "losing" all their looted items are some of the funniest I have read here.  Keep 'em coming, losers.

I got 137 boxes during the glitch yesterday, opened them all. Got 2k each drug, 130k crys, 20 days premium, atleast 10 paints including SPECTRUM, ETERNITY, AND NIGHTMARE. Then they take it all away.

Some people say "They gave us no warnings" "We spent 2 hrs for nothing" "its tanki's fault so let us keep the items" "we thought it was a event"

 

Who would even think this was a event? If this was a event tanki would've been ruined. Its your own fault that you spent 2 hours of your OWN time on a damn game. Dont be pissed and accept the fact that all the items you got were illegitimate. If you weren't part of the glitch im sure you'd feel mad as well if the ones who were in the glitch got to keep their ITEMS

We should get missions for containers during the BF event, like we have for Golds and Premium items. Too bad.

Yesterday I opened 40 to 50 containers during the glitch. I got Moonwalker, Flow, Nightmare, Cherry, Safari, Grafiti, Glitch and 2-3 other paints.

If you are saying that your post did relate to my previous post, you might go back and actually read my original post and you will find that your post did have nothing to do with my post.  You did bring up the subject of difficulty in acquiring crates, so I elaborated.  I originally never said anything about hard work in grabbing black crates..you did, and you did it very sarcastically which I did not like...your mocking tone.

The black boxes are dangerous. They are like real drugs, they give you euforia when you get a special rare surprise and a very nice adrenaline dopamine shot rushes through you wanting more. More. Its yours!

Look at those poor glitch victims: they got overdosed and are screaming cold turkey now. Must feel really bad I am sure. I know. But it is a good thing it got rolled back. Thanks Tanki for saving the game after a very dangerous glitch.

A glitch that can make young kids AND adults addicted immediately. Yes they will be upset. But that will go away. Trust me: you ll thank Tanki later for correcting the devastating black box rain.
