haha, i was expecting some player with Eternity (or any legacy paint in fact) to rage after Tanki announced that Eternity is now back "to a certain level, after all is still gambling" to the market.

 

Tanki promised you something and didn't keep that promise haha  :lol: 

 

while i'm always against gambling, i hate show off players that think they are special just because they can buy even more, so yeah, i think i'm happy about this update, now Eternity only screams "Buyer" and nothing else.

 

and don't fool yourself, your Eternity worth nothing more than the Eternity's we have in the containers, nobody care about it's module, its all about looks, there is no such thing as fake Eternity, face reality and move on.

 

in fact, i think this is the only update that can turn me into a buyer, i would love to get an Eternity just to piss off the old byuers that think they are special.  :rolleyes: 

 

still not gonna buy thought, don't even care about playing anymore, but still, no more rare paints policy, my dream has finally come true !

In a fact, I was not raging at all, I have barely done 50k experience past 6 months, so I lost interest playing this game long time ago. And we are talking about a pixel in a computer game which has 0 value and doesn't really boost ego or give you any extra powers. Before paint/prot seperation, eternity had one of the best protections from them all giving you 50 isida/smoky/thunder - most powerful turrets used before nerf - which was the main reason most of us bought it in a first place.

 

Playing with eternity was never an ego boost nor show off. If I want to do that, I will just go take my 150k car out for drive and enjoy people taking vids/pics.

 

We all knew that there will be a time when Tanki will make these unique paints open for everyone again just to generate revenue. They will most likely do same with XT items aswell in some point - Gambling for kids is one of the best markets currently. Why else CSGO gambling sites are 7.4 BILLION market currently. We are talking about a game here, which needs more revenue to grow, so developers need more ways to monetize and get player value up.

Let's say if you bought or received the container but you didn't open it and the event ended. Will the containers stay or disappear?

I think that, in the future, they should bring back containers and the black goldboxes for a certain amount of time around major holidays that include but are not limited to:

 

Christmas/New Years
Valentines Day
Iron Days
Woman's Day
May Holidays
Tanki's Birthday
Tanker's Day
Halloween
Black Friday

 

I know many of these already have their special goldbox skins, but perhaps there can be a hybrid? I don't know, but I think a black background around a heart for Valentine's Day would look pretty cool...

 

also, even with the little 'gold rain' mixup, the majority of the players are pretty excited about this new update. I didn't see any negative complaints in the Black Friday Topic besides the ones from getting hundreds of thousands of crystals taken back and cool paints that were deleted from their accounts. But really... what can you expect?

 

Anyway, just ponder this idea, I think it would be really cool of tanki to include it in their normal list of celebrations for holidays.

I PURCHASED with MONEY 25 containers just after the start of the Black Friday event. I got some REALLY great stuff! Over 70k crystals, 15 gold boxes, Premium, and SPECTRUM PAINT!! I was stoked! But.......when they rolled back the servers due to the box glitch, I lost it all. I did get another 25 containers, but lets just say they were not even close to what I had LEGITIMATELY BOUGHT. All I really want is my crystals, gold boxes, and Spectrum paint back. I did not get any of this by exploiting a programming error, I PAID FOR IT! I even have a video showing the Spectrum paint in my garage before the rollback.

 

I get it, the box drop issue was a glitch and the best way to handle the thousands of affected accounts was to roll back the servers. And rightfully, no one should be able to keep anything they scooped up in maps during that time. However, rolling back the servers had other consequences to those of us that had done nothing wrong. I have PM'd Nives and e-mailed support. I have no doubt they have become swamped with the multitude of correspondence related to the box glitch. So far though, if I received anything back at all, it's a link to this thread.

 

I have purchased some items in the past to both help me and help support the game. I am sure it's nowhere near what some other have spent. However, it seems to me that if the folks at Tanki cannot make this right for me with just a few simple clicks of a mouse, I will have great hesitations making any future purchases wondering if what I just bought will simply disappear again.

 

I am not angry. I am disappointed and frustrated. I simply request that my situation be looked at and dealt with in a fair manner.

You will have 6 days premium yes. Go in your garage and check the Premium paint. On the top right, you will see the expiring date ;)

Uh no thanks.  We all know how distracting regular golds are already.  Replacing regular golds with random loot black boxes (yes, I do mean random loot) would just be an even worse distraction in-battle.

Hey thanks. That is in fact the same form I already filled out that did at least garner a response only if it was to point me back to this thread. I also filled out a customer service form and the form for purchase concerns. I also pm'd Nives. Not bent out of shape that he hasn't responded, it's the weekend and I bet he has a bazillion "I hate Tanki" PM's to weed through after the box drop debacle.

 

Just concerned that my request will get lost in all of the noise. I truly believe this is a reasonable request with a simple fix. Keeping my fingers crossed that nothing gets lost in the translation and that Tanki will come through and do the right thing. I do appreciate your help!

more than 1 hr playing same map temple and no single gold drop today i think they lowered the rate
