Chat and facebook mods interact with players a lot, yet I doubt many people who viewed this topic would be able to even name a few of them without looking at the list.

Same thing with the Event helpers, they put in a lot of work to provide fun events on a regular basis, but only a little tip of all that work is seen on the forums.

Lol, no. As Coop said, they're unofficial helpers and only need to do a few hours of work, whereas just about every other official Helper Group requires several hours put in a week (in excess of around 6-10 hours weekly), even if that just means doing some things here and there.

I see why this is a contest. Although I do agree with some standings, it saddens me to see some people not getting credit for their work and contribution in this community. Most importantly, @joostcool left at the end of this year, so why not add him and appreciate him for what he's done for eSports over the past year? And that's the reason why I will never really agree with unoffical "best helper" topics.

Moreover, the title of this topic should be changed to "Most popular helper of the year contest" cause only people who interact with players will get the highest standings (no offense) like facebook & chat mods while there are other people that deserve credits such as some battle mods/newspaper reporters/wiki editors/help site consultants who put a lot of effort.
