Amateur Writing Tournament Returns: Edition Two

Btw i have a doubt. How long is the text supposed to be (i mean like recommended length) ?

Should we provide a backstory ;D

Thanks for the quick replies  :D

As of now, there is no required length for this challenge. Since the entries can be judged in two ways: Short entries with intricate details and challenging solutions, or longer entries with more information and a more time-consuming solution.

Oh wow, I did not realize the second challenge was here already. Am I too late?

Late? to a contest organized by reporters? Haha, there is no such thing.

Deadline for submission of entries is the 30th of January.

Hello everyone, terribly sorry for the delay, I've been a bit slammed this week. Entries have been accepted and recorded, look out for the results soon!

I think you guys should go back to reading books instead...

And you should stop pretending to be cool (aka a Reporter) by using Trebuchet MS :D

Books are cool and all, but Trebuchet MS 14 point font is awesome.

A wise man once stated thus: "Nobody cares how much you know, until they know how much you care."

Take that as you will here.

May I remind you all that this is a contest. Whatever liberty you have is your own, and it gives you no right to start smashing at other people because of things you didn't do. No one is advertising you to come here, if you don't participate, I will hold no grudge against you.

And concerning the judgement of entries, and the time delay, I should inform you that all helpers are volunteers. They have real lives, real families and real priorities to look after. Sure, you have the right to await response, and spam twee's inbox asking him to approve articles and question us about your entries and all your queries, that is what we are here for. We aren't randomly picked, each member of the Reporter team is there for a reason, it is because they are skilled at what they do, and no one holds the right to publicly ridicule their actions.

So please keep the discussion clear and vivid, and do not engage yourselves in flame wars. This is a place of inspiration, not conflict.

It goes to show you that some things look like they went all wrong, but from another person's perspective, it can be a completely different story.

Ugh, another apology letter. I really feel terrible guys, I've been experiencing severe internet problems and I've not been able to do much all week. Since I am not worthy of keeping my own deadlines, I shall not give them for the next challenge; it will be based on the number of entries instead of a time limit. I will try my best to do this as soon as possible.
