Holiday break from Daily Mission Chains

I know it is now optional to do missions, but 3 times hard is too much for most I think, changing it to 2 times hard would be good. Think about it for after the Frosty Weekend.

It is do-able.

I've been aiming for the "earn 375 crystals" missions and they're not too difficult - about 3 games (but then I am Premium and on double) - but say 5 or 6 games total.

It was taking me a dozen games to do all three missions before the holiday break.

 

I don't mind putting the time in, but not when it's crap like "capture 21 CP points for 15 DA and 15 SU."  That's just a ridiculous waste of supplies for very little return.

 

I'm now just doing ONE mission a day to keep the chain.

I've been and will continue to be very busy with family and skiing (wooo) and I've already missed two days of missions. It was such a nice surprise to still be in my week 4 chain. Much appreciated.

I've a question  :huh: My previous weekly reward collecting day was Thursday. I skipped a one day (during this period of course) & then complete my missions as usual in next days. Then which day will I get my weekly reward.? Thursday or Friday.? As now, the bar will be full on Friday as I skipped a one day  :huh:

So long as you keep your mission chains going you will get your reward on Friday as you expect.

 

The only temporary change is that since you skipped a day, you did not lose the entire week’s worth of progress.

If you complete at least 1 daily mission before server restart 02:00 January 8th, you will keep your chain progress.

 

This means on January 7th you need to complete at least 1 daily mission and, if you're 6/7 then yes, you will get it.

 

EDIT: Too late realized the actual question. Just skipping daily missions for a full week does not complete the chain.

Hi Nives, I think you need to write a new announcement to replace the original, since this is very confusing.

 

You said the other day, if I'm not mistaken, that we need to complete and claim a mission anytime before the 8th for the system to be able to save our progress. Now you are saying that we need to complete (and claim?) a mission on the 7th.

 

For me it looks like I have to complete and claim a mission on the 7th, but others may not do it that way because the message is not clear.

 

I think devs should be clear about what they want us to do. Thanks.

Having the grace period break frm missions is a good idea once or twice a year. This idea should be retained.

 

The FUBAR which spawned it should never be repeated. I mean of course the idea to bump each and every mission to 3x difficulty or more. This idea should never be repeated.

For the mission shown in the post above me, it glitched for me. I didn't come in the top three places, but was on the winning team, and I still completed the mission.  :huh:  While I'm not really complaining, it was really weird. This was on my alt Auhsoj2.

The glitches with this mission should have been fixed after todays server restart.

What about the players that had a special mission (99k XP or 9k kills) for crystals or XT? Their mission were replaced by 3 holidays mission the first day the vent started. They will never get their special mission and their progress back.

 

So. You feel sorry for them? And how they feel? They lost a rare mission, to get a garbage like earn 2500 exp and get 85 Nitro.

 

I know it's not your fault, but developers have no idea about what they are doing :) Each new event or update come with at least one glitch.
