Did they remove the colour for opening containers? The last 2 days I've opened around 50 containers, but none showed the colour for common, uncommon etc.

 

This container should be purple, but nothing was shown (not that I care, I like the reward  :P )

No, that only applies to weekly containers. For normal ones the probabilities and amounts are same for all ranks.
