End Battle Bonuses

These would persuade more people to stay to the end of the battle as well as promote playing as a team and could go something like this:

 

At the end of the battle certain little rewards are given for a variety of topics some of which could involve

  • High scores
  • High DL
  • Capped Flags/Capped Points
  • Healing Experience (for isdas)
  • Overdrives shared

Examples of rewards could be

  • 1 Double Damage supply for every 200 experience earned healing
  • 2 Repair Kits awarded for every flag capped
  • 1 Repair kit awarded for every 2 points capped
  • 1 Double Armor supply for a DL of 1.0+, 2 for 2.0+ and 3 for 3.0+ up to 10
  • 1 goldbox supply given for a score over 1000
  • 1 container given for a score over 1200
  • 1 or each supply (excluding goldboxes) for every overdrive shared with 3+ people

This update would help the problem of mid-battle ditches and help promote playing as a team. Also it would help even out the playing field of Buyers vs. non Buyers and make the game less 'pay 2 win'. If you guys like this I will add some more ideas of what you could get rewards for at the end of the battle.

I like the idea to motivate players to stay in the battle, but I think the way you set out the rewards does not help the problem.

 

 

 

Already today only players that stick until the end will receive a share of the fund. And already today the share is related to the score a player achieved in the battle. So -> players that a: played longer, b: worker harder/more efficient, c: were more lucky -> get higher rewards.

 

So if the game reaches a tipping point and players think of leaving the battle, the high-achievers are more likely to stay as they know they can expect a higher reward.. while the low scoring players of the loosing team are very likely to leave.

 

What you offer is basically increases the rewards for players that perform very well (they are not the problem), while rewards for excelent gameplay give nothing to the players that have low scores (which are the ones very likely to leave).

 

So the way you set it out will not help.

(on the other hand rewards for lowest-performers will only increase multing).

 

I would suggest you have to reconsider what motivates players to stick to a battle.. and rework your proposal accordingly.

If you end up with the idea that the battle fund should be shared "more fair" between the teams (loosing team gets more then today), you're in best company through out the forum (which would me make to merge your post with a similar idea)

Wow! Great suggestions and I actually appreciate that you declined this idea. I am now able to refine my idea and think it through a little better. This was literally a result of me mindlessly browsing the forum and suddenly this popped out! XD
