Custom Kit

Recommended Posts

I have a suggestion. We can make a custom kit . Example , I want m2 Railgun and Wasp m2. So I just added those items and just pay the cost of those items. Another example, I want rico m2 and viking m2. So I just added those item and pay the ammount of item's cost. Some tankers don't like current kits because too expensive or not reliable. I mean, some tankers don't want paint or protection module. Current kits has paint and protection module which is good but paints are useless now. So why they have to buy the paint in the kit if they don't like it?

Declined

Kits intentionally have advantages and disadvantages. The advantages are that they always have a permanent discount and can give you access to equipment a couple ranks before it unlocks individually. But the disadvantages include not being able to always get what you want and having to pay for items you already own or might not want. It's a balanced system at the moment and being able to make custom kits is too good.

I can tell you for a fact that this won't happen. Kits are special offers made by devs, so you either take it or leave it. Think about it in a real life example: in grocery stores you often get special offers that combine two or more products and sell them at a discounted price. If you think it's a good deal, then you take it. But you don't just take two random items off the shelf and demand them to be combined into a special offer with a discount. That simply doesn't make sense. Same applies to kits in Tanki.

Yeah right.

"ADVANTAGES?"

Add a 300k paint to a kit to make it expensive.

Thats an advantage i guess

It's not. That's one of the disadvantages I listed in my post - "having to pay for items you don't want" (unless you actually wanted the paint).

I used a grocery store as a more familiar example that we can all relate to. The truth is that Tanki is also a for-profit business that sells individual items for money so yes, in some ways it is quite similar to a grocery store and the example I used is quite relevant.
