1. I don't think the flag positioning is a good idea, same for ball.

 

2. The battle log notification is not a good place to notify who has lost or taken the flag, because when there are too many kills you can't even see it, unless you make that notification stay always present until a new notification comes.

 

3. The War PL paint has a disadvantage because it is more visible than the others, and there could be a confusion between RU and EN paints.

agree  Canada has little to do with England and what about the USA players.. what it should be based on is more the language spoken for each team .or things that represent that language .words spelled in french ( clean words/ safe ) pictures of items , places things more lie this . not the flags.

I'm french, why i would pay for an ugly EN paint? So count me out on this one two.

I think PL and DE are solid communities, they will prove you wrong. 

I like the PL paint I might by that one just to have it.

Since the PL paint doesn't look like it comes from a flag like the rest, it looks like a regular paint, it looks good. It looks like Where is Waldo,

I doubt that anyone at Tanki's offices gets too fussed about which flags are more visible, so lets not get into that. Let's just enjoy the event for what its worth as was intended. ;)

The War paints in the VLog look yacky !

 

It doesn't need to use the national flags to represent the languages ! For the Russian, German and Polish might be fine but there are lots of countries using English like UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore,...and many more. Using only the Union Jack (UK) flag is not incorrect but not good enough. (BTW there are also a couple of countries using German). Even the flags are using as the designs of the paints, they look awful on the tanks. Furthermore, the polish paint, some how, looks like Austrian flag to me when it is on the tank as shown. I hope you will, and I believe you are able to, do some changes with nice designs on these paints. If you intend to use the national flag, may be you can put the (large?) rectangular flag on both sides of the turret plus the front and aft of the hull on some special design camo/colour (i.e. like some of the real tanks did in the war time).

 

IMO the present paints really really don't look good. Hope they can be improved.

Agree with you. Why UK's flag on paint ?? Did TO think UK represent entire English world ?? Are they in 2018 or in 18th century British-era ??

Good for you. I hope you get the amount of kills RU paint demands for the event. The bigger the community, the larger will be kills amount coz U see in V-LOG, they mentioned they will judge by average K/D.

Edit: I may go with team DE then, or the winning team.

 

PS. The EN flag could have a lot more blue in it to make it more different that RU paint.

This event is not copy/paste of VK vs OK event. Read the herald report. I think number of kills depends on participants of paint - the smaller the participants, the lesser kills tier will be.

I’ll also reiterate that

 

-KD comparisons will favor teams with less lag =>> RU

-Total kill comparisons will favor larger player base =>> RU

-larger player base will be further bolstered by all the whiners who know the above and will buy RU paint expecting a free lunch

 

I expect to sit this one out.

How can you guess PRO battles in any TO event ?? btw read the herald report FAQ, its strictly in non-PRO in any mode.

I don't like the idea of flag carrier indicator. Where is the surprise factor when you can see where the flag is?

Plus blue is a very strong color. to have a random blue dot will distract a lot of players.
