LOLKILLERTOTHEDEATH 1,921 Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 This topic is to discuss math, and really anything about it. I suppose it can serve as a place for non-PHD people like myself, to ask questions about maths such as "what is the proof for e^pi(i) = -1?". This is also a club for people who like Maths. If you wish to join our club, please post so and you shall be made a member of the club. Please refrain from randomly asking questions involving lengthy arithmetic. Those tasks are best left to calculators. I suppose it can serve as a place for non-PHD people like myself, to ask questions about maths such as "what is the proof for e^pi(i) = -1?" That being said, would anyone care to explain the concept of bearing and how to determine bearing? I'm quite stuck at that. Yuck, i hate bearing -_- And i had to use it in trig (well its part of the syllabus "trig") Thnx god, i graduated from school last year :P Hmm give us a question from ur textbook Edited March 1, 2018 by Heles

LOLKILLERTOTHEDEATH 1,921 Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 I think that creating a maths related topic on a game forum is the first sin of madness. Desmos is amazingly awesome, but no school will allow people to use computers during a test.

LOLKILLERTOTHEDEATH 1,921 Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 i will come prepared with 2 episodes of rick and morty I'd imagine you'll learn more profanity than maths. Troll, care to explain bearings? I'm hopelessly stuck. I have all my functions alright (well at least for the level I'm supposed to be at) but bearings is making every question I do wrong. r_Kirby4 358 Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 Math is much more important than you think, for instance, if you think of yourself being a game creator. All those things you learn you think won't be needed anymore in your life are just there to train you to learn something you are or are not interested in and to improve your memory. I am good at maths, but not as well in some other subjects.

LOLKILLERTOTHEDEATH 1,921 Posted March 4, 2018 Posted March 4, 2018 https://revisionmaths.com/gcse-maths-revision/trigonometry/bearings Thanks for that! Did some more problems, and happy to say I'm much better at bearings. Math is much more important than you think, for instance, if you think of yourself being a game creator. All those things you learn you think won't be needed anymore in your life are just there to train you to learn something you are or are not interested in and to improve your memory. I am good at maths, but not as well in some other subjects. It's like I am seeing myself. I agree, I love maths more than anything else and for some reason, I don't do as well on other subjects. Maths is universally applicable; There's no place where maths isn't present or can't be made to exist.
