Always open all of your containers.

 

When you open a set of containers, like Open 1, Open 5, Open 5, sometimes you will be left with an odd number of unopened containers. You may be tempted to leave them and wait until you save up another large batch. No No No. Do not leave any containers unopened. The way the algorithm works is that all containers are valued when you click on the container supply in the special section of the garage. When the window opens and you get the selection to open a specified number of containers, each container has already been assigned a rarity value.

 

So when you open 15 you get an increasing rarity of rewards with supplies being given first, Premium, crystals, and gold boxes next, and rare paints last.

 

After that 15th box, keep going opening boxes until you have no containers left. You will keep getting the top tier rewards.

 

If you leave those extra containers and exit the game, those containers will reset their value and you’ll get common supplies.

I always open containers 1x1, and got 2 legendary paints in my first 20 or so containers opened over multiple sittings...

 

Not saying I disagree with you, but I'm not sure how great an effect number opened has.

I meant open only one per day / per server restart. Not open all at once using the open 1 button.

 

I don’t know that this will change the results. I am interested in seeing if anyone will try and report back.

I think this container discussion needs to have it's own topic so players can try doing and reporting experiments and things like that.

Be ready for Matchmaking and save your containers for XT skins, if possible.

 

I can speak based on the last several months that the current schedule is fluid, and the next major feature should be MM.

 

Mobile version consumes the most development resources, Juggernaut is getting ready and XT-skins are in early stages.

How to be ready for Matchmaking?

 

I think one way will be by having friends to play with when joining battles. What do you think?

Straight after server restart I completed my mission to receive my weekly bonus and to get those 3 containers, as soon as I got the containers I opened them and received a legendary paint which was straight after server restart as I mentioned at the start.

For Cosmonautics Day don't open containers looking for Premium until you see the announcement. Or just keep saving them for XTs or better things in the future.

If your team is full of Wasps and Hornets, because of X10 Meteorite Gold/Containers, it's probably better to leave that battle.
