Seems that this wouldnt help you since fire exits were locked and fire alarm was off . if you were a couple of lvls up , no fire drill could have helped . Also many who have died are children ( cinema ? ) , and fire drill only starts playing a role once you are at least teenager , but like i said , highly doubtfull it would have helped in this case .

Horrible way to die . RIP for the victims , and i hope the families of the victims find their peace .

I don’t see that as a situation, it’s a moment of silence for the one who departed. That’s humanity.

Devastating. Worst of all the fact kids were involved... What sort of management ever thinks putting alarm off on Sunday, on the start of a holiday, in an entertainment center which mainly attracts families and children, was a necessary idea... Idk what else went wrong, still reading up about this. 

 

I'm sorry.. I'm just rather angry than sad about this situation. Rest in peace to the deceased and prayers/best wishes for the well-being of those affected.

According to Russian newspaper Novaya Gazeta, local people reject the official number that has been announced. They believe that the number of victims could be anywhere between 150 and 400 and that the authorities are hiding bodies. Аn email address they set up for reports of dead or missing people received information about 85 victims, the newspaper reported.

"Her last words were: Mum, I love you, I'm dying," said a woman in the same video who told the crowd she lost her daughter, daughter-in-law and three grandchildren in the fire. She said she begged firemen and police to open the door to a cinema hall where her family was stuck but they didn't do anything.

"Murderers!" the crowd chanted as she finished her story.

What really... <_< "irritates" me is that this happened on the 25th (from what I can tell) and I am just now finding out about it. I usually get my news drum Drudge report, but Drudge has been holding out it seems lately. It makes no sense why this was not in the mainstream media. YouTube news is usually quite on top of things when tragedies happen, yet I saw nothing there. Luckily I have a few news channels on YouTube that I was able to gain info about the situation. I just regret not checking them for the past few days.

 

My hart goes out to all victims and their families. Stay strong.

 

Mourn this week, rebuild the next, never forget those that have been lost.
