we all live in a crazy world now and regardless where  tragedy  happens. we all get touched by it some way. just remember this could happening anywhere . we need to stand united and united as  one world . 

 

just remember when Paris was hit the world stood still , we all joined together as one . regardless where the company is or where the tragic event takes place those company's would also close there doors to stand united with the family's who have lost  love ones .

 

lets just support this company the best way we all know how ..be united as a tanki Family .. staying strong to those around us...

U need to change this line "tragedies around the world", because I never see any event suspended after any ISIS or any terrorist attacks in any parts of the world, neither I see any mourning event organized when thousands of innocent children died in Syria supported by Russia. Don't be double standards, TO, your statement hurts. #JustSaying

Because of many tragedies happening around the world on a regular basis, this topic was created as a place for people to send their thoughts out to all victims of tragedies. The reason TO doesn't postpone events or updates or makes a special announcement because of those other tragedies is because those days aren't declared official days of mourning in Russia.

I understand what you trying to say, but stopping an event is absolutely unnecessary & 101% biased. Tragedies are part of your life, you can't find a single living being in this planet who didn't face tragedy. 40 sweet children lost is very very unfortunate, I am honestly very sad about it, but its 's job to write in better way so that it didn't hurt sentiments in other communities. Tragedy in Syria is not a 3-day affair like other ISIS-attack related tragedies in other parts of the world, but I didn't find a single condolence post from TO administrators. Did TO suspended War event in wake of Ghouta bombing in Syria ?? No. It continues & successfully ended, likewise, this event needs to go on as happens in every year. Also, I didn't find any post in Russian forum asking administrator to suspend April Fool event related to Kemerova incident. A condolence post is OK, but I didn't like this out-of-reason suspension. 

 

It's not biased. The Russian government has declared this day as day of mourning. Consequently that means in TO no updates/events/celebrations will be rolled out today (at the next server restart), so everything will be moved to the next time updates are rolled out. That's generally with the server restart between Wednesday and Thursday, so next week.

It's honestly shocking readings all these comments coming from people who has been playing Tanki online for years and showing support to tanki. Since when people care more about sales than an actual tragedy that happened? Since when you people decided to argue on specific topic when somebody actually died in that tragedy? By complaining about suspension of April fool's sale will not solve anything at all, you might get answers but it's not needed at all, it's all about respect. Some of you might be definitely grown up but lack of respect, learn it. It's understandable these kind of tragedies happen around the world but this thread was posted for a reason, respect that.

they were celebrating valentines day and women's day when syria was in danger. Why didnt they stop those events? Why do they care about only their country? Tank Online has people all around from the world its not just a Russian game.  

First, it is a government-declared day of mourning in Russia. This is not just Alternativa's decision - in a sense they have to observe it.

Second, I do not see anything wrong with caring about your own country. It does no good to start pointing fingers and calling each other hypocrites because one did not observe one tragedy, or another tragedy, or yet another. Suffering in the world is constant. It is physically impossible to recognize all of this suffering. Therefore we mourn what is closest to us.
