Hello!

 

We want to announce that we've changed format for upcoming cup.

All information about new "Light" format

In this month we will have a bit different settings than last time.

 

Short summary of the changes & rules:

* 4on4 -> 6on6

* *Custom format -> Light format

* * Hulls

* * Heavy hulls forbidden (Titan and Mammoth)

* * Turrets 5 Railgun

* * Maximum 1 smoky per team

* * Others turrests are forbidden

* * Maximum 70% combined resistance against Railgun per team (35% Resistance from Railgun on 2 Hulls)

* * No resistance against Smoky

* New map list: Barda, Bridges, Kungur, Molotov, Osa, Red Alert, Tribute

* Full rules are on the website

 

Prizes pool

1st place - 350 000 crystals for team

2nd place - 250 000 crystals for team

3rd place - 150 000 crystals for the team

The tournaments in collaboration with our partners at ESL Play continue. Last Sunday, on January 27, a new tournament took place. 19 teams took part in it. 
 
The winners are:
 
1st place: Deadly Army (350 000 crystals for the team)

2nd place: Checkmate (250 000 crystals for the team)

3rd place: Blackwood (150 000 crystals for the team)
 
The next tournament will be played on February 3, and you can register for the event until 14:30 UTC on the day of the cup, with matches starting at 15:00 UTC. The tournament will be held in CTF. It will be a 6x6 battle as usual, and only players ranked Brigadier to Legend can take part.
 
The equipment loadout for the tournament is as follows:
 
Light hulls are allowed (Wasp and Hornet)

  • Medium hulls are allowed (Hunter, Viking and Dictator, but no more than two per team)
  • Only Smoky and Railgun are allowed (only 1 Smoky per team, and it can only be equipped only on a light hull — Wasp or Hornet)
  • 35% resistance against Railgun is allowed but on a maximum of two tanks per team
  • 35% resistance against Smoky is allowed but on a maximum of two tanks per team
  • It's forbidden to use a module with resistances against Smoky and Railgun at the same time

The tournament will be held on the following maps: Barda, Bridges, Forest, Red Alert, Kungur, Parma and Solikamsk. If after 2 rounds a winner hasn’t been determined, the final match will be played on the Cross map.

10 teams took part in the February 3 tournament. The winners are:

 

1st place: Random Noobs (350 000 crystals for the team)

2nd place: Noob Invasion (250 000 crystals for the team)

3rd place: Avanguard (150 000 crystals for the team)

 

The next tournament will be played on February 10, and you can register for the event until 14:30 UTC on the day of the cup, with matches starting at 15:00 UTC.

 

This time we have once again reviewed and modified some of the rules of this traditional Sunday tournament. Now it will be classic ХР/ВР.

 

The tournament will be held in CTF. It will be a 6x6 battle as usual, and only players ranked Brigadier to Legend can take part.

 

Also, the list of maps the tournament will be held on has changed. Now it is played on Kungur, Bridges, Parma, Red Alert, Tribute, Forest and Molotov. If after 2 rounds a winner hasn’t been determined, the final match will be played on the Sandal map.

Now, to bring more variety into the tournament, we have once again reviewed and modified some of the rules.

 

The tournament will be held in CTF. It will be a 6x6 battle as usual, and only players ranked Brigadier to Legend can take part.

What has to be changed regarding the discord server?

 

eSports checker will not be used for ESL, at least for the time being maybe in the future that will change but it is not sure. The reason why this is not possible now because ESL is not officially recognized from the eSports administration, official tournaments are run from the official Tanki eSports administration and ESL is not run by us thus makes it unofficial.

The tournaments in collaboration with our partners at ESL Play continue, and we have some great news for you!

 

From now ESL tournaments will be held not only on Sundays, but also on Thursdays!

 

ESL tournaments are held in CTF mode in 6x6 battles, and only players ranked Brigadier to Legend can take part.

 

Thursday and Sunday tournaments will have different rules.

 

Thursday tournaments are held in the Hard format:

 

  • All hulls are allowed, but no more than 2 heavy hulls per team (Titan, Mammoth);

  • All turrets except Magnum are allowed, but each turret can not be used more than twice per team;

  • Only 2 Short-Range (Isida, Firebird, Freeze) turrets per team are allowed;

  • No more than one Isida per team and only on Light Hulls (Wasp, Hornet);

  • All resistance modules are allowed, excluding unique modules;

  • All alterations are allowed, except «Shock freeze»;

  • Maps: Solikamsk, Kungur, Siege, Parma, Osa, Bobruisk, Rio.  If after 2 rounds a winner hasn’t been determined, the final match will be played on the Cross map.

 

Sunday tournaments are held in the Light format:

 

  • Only light hulls are allowed (Wasp and Hornet);

  • Smoky and Railgun turrets are allowed, but no more than 1 Smoky per team;

  • No resistance modules against Smoky are allowed;

  • Resistance against Railgun divided over no more than two hulls;

  • Maximum 70% combined resistance against Railgun per team (35% Resistance from Railgun on 2 Hulls);

  • Maps: Barda, Bridges, Kungur, Molotov, Osa, Red Alert, Tribute. If after 2 rounds a winner hasn’t been determined, the final match will be played on the Cross map.

Prizes in Thursday tournaments:

 

1st place — 250 000 crystals per team;

2nd place — 150 000 crystals per team;

3rd place — 100 000 crystals per team.

 

Prizes in Sunday tournaments:

2nd place — 150 000 crystals per team;

3rd place — 100 000 crystals per team.
