Upgrades and Rank

Hello,

  My question is I have a fully upgraded M2 Hornet and a fully upgraded M2 Ricochet and I am at the rank Colonel. It doesn't hardly seem fair that I have to go 4 more ranks to Marshal before I get a M3 when I have seen lesser ranks then Brigadier already with a M3 in battle. Getting in to battles with M3's is suicide when I only have a M2. Is that just the way it is to try to get to Brigadier. I don't know if I will stick with this game that long. Am I missing something? Thanks

The players with cosmetically M3 items bought them before the ranks of M3 equipment were changed. These M3's are now only available at Marshal, or as early as Lieutenant General in the form of kits. 

 

These players are rare and don't affect balance too much unless the item is heavily upgraded, so you'll just have to use your fully upgraded M2's till you reach the rank which M3 kits unlock.

This is how it is unfortunately, mid ranks are the hardest in the game.
