Yep, usually in my head though. Out loud when I've done something really really stupid or when I'm in traffic and get annoyed by other drivers. Technically I'm talking to them, but I'm the only one that can hear it, does that count?

That's a myth, old wives tale, not true. Psychologically speaking, talking to yourself is mentally healthy. It's called using yourself as a "sounding board." Sometimes hearing thoughts and ideas out loud can help the mind sort out what's important and what isn't. 

 

When you're angry or frustrated with another person or things are not going well at work, school, etc. There's nothing wrong with imagining an entity sitting at the table (or wherever) and telling that invisible person what the problems are. Actually, at times, that's the only "person" you can be completely honest with.

Yeah, so do I. I imagine situations where I'm usually roasting a person or giving a lecture, and I think about it in my head, but before I realise it my lips are moving - albeit no sounds come out. My arms also start gesturing as I imagine my lecture or roast session - all without me knowing, except when a mult walks into the room and I quickly pretend to be doing something else :P.

I sometimes explain stuff to myself while in the shower, kind of like Vsauce. Last time, it was about conductors, insulators, and resistors. I imagine that I am teaching a class.

 

It's kind of to build confidence in public speaking.

If someone sees me doing this it would be so embarrassing :ph34r:

I do that aswell when I'm studying. I don't know how it works for different people but I seem to remember things a bit better when I speak them out like as if I'd be standing in front of a classroom.

 

But yeah, when someone comes in and sees it, I feel rather embarrassed too. :lol:
