Forum being less active, overall.

The forum requiers you to register, I think a lot of players are put off by that. Those who want to do more in this game than just playing usually register on the forums to catch news and take part in discussions. I'd rather have likeminded people in one place than the entire T.O. community spamming the place full of posts to gain post count. This is why I like the register 'barrier'. The EN forum community doesn't represent the average T.O. player.. in a good way if you ask me.

 

Tanki Online does plenty of advertising in the news section with various links to the forum so I'm sure most of the players know about its excistence but a lot of them don't even bother to register and instead visit it as guest; language would be the biggest barrier I guess.

Many of them just do not know how to sign in.

It doesn't require you to register. You log in with the same details as your in-game username and password, takes 5 seconds to login.  :unsure:

 

I realised forum is usually really active when a big update is being released so everybody logs in to check it out. But normal days all I see is Viking4is whatever his name is lol on each topic with his comments.  B)

Alright, look here:

It's not about how many people know the forum since half of them never post. It's about certain forumers, who've left the game. They were the last breath of the forum, along with a few other fun mods/admins, such as Damny. If these people were back, we'd be back to 2013.

great news for him returning I wish other good players would return. I do miss all the enjoyment the forum had in the past.

 

for me the forum has been going down hill for some time and I have spoken to cooper about this so many times . she has said in the past it will be changed but it takes time to get it done . I'm not sure what it will look like as of yet so its up to the designers on what it will be .. any ideas on how to change it would be more beneficial to the dev's then why it went down hill . is better . I have no clue what the Russian or other servers are like anyone can they post photos of other community servers so we can compare to what works.. I do know the forum in tanki X is mainly a white back ground which do's hurt the eye's if viewing for long periods of time.

I can guarantee you most of Tanki's player base is probably kids or people with no life. We eventually go to Highschool and college, join a team, club, get a job, or find another hobby ( including other video games ) that replace tanki. Aside from that, I took a whole 3 year break, but Im a nostalgic wimp that can't swallow pills and now I come on regularly for about only an hour or two maximum a day. Devs in my opinion have made the game better in multiple ways,but have overall made it worse. For example, MM is a very good idea but now we have M4's versing M2's. Tanki wont get their 100k+ players back until they get their crap together, but to be honest it doesn't seem like developers want more players
