Well, we weren't exactly swamped with entries this time around, but the month is over and it's time for the results.

In first place, winning a hefty sum of 40k crystals with his perfectly-written piece, is @Hippin_in_Hawaii. (Read here) It also introduced me to a new author who I had to research while judging these entries. So thanks for that! ^^

@Aigaion and his Shakespeare-inspired fable takes the second place. Only barely missing out on first place honestly. (Read here)

Taking third place is @PATTON_IN_TUNISIA. A fable with a spin of Tanki on it, what's not to like? (Read here)

Due to the lack of entries, no consolation prizes will be given for this contest.

Hope all the participants enjoyed this contest. If you have any more contest or article ideas, feel free to post them in the Newspaper Suggestions topic. Winners, don't spend all your crystals in one place ;). Cheers!

Congrats guys! Hippin's was wonderful, and showed the flaws of fables in a masterful way. I'm still surprised he didnt enter for Write for Tanki (I guess the only plausible reason he got no reward is because he never entered)

The rest were pretty good too. Good job guys! Also, I may soon send to AWS my take on the fox and grapes fable someday soon too

THanks for the compliment!

What was Write for Tanki? I must have missed that.

Again, thanks for the kind words! ANd, you're welcome! I hope you enjoy your foray into VOnnegut's works!

What about me? I too wrote an entry and checked everyday to make sure it had not been disqualified.

rewards wer only for top 3, and consolation prizes are only given out if ther is a large participatory base

Those who truly deserve something rarely think they deserve it. Also, sometimes you have to accept, not everything happens as you desire. I learnt this the hard way.

To put it in a nutshell, the forum too has become a pay to win place. Well, then RIP. Both the game and the forum are dead.
