I made a mistake and have since changed it. Regarding the deadline, contests are supposed to be from Issue to issue, which is why the time to take part in the contest is until the 28th of July.

If entries will be less will it be extended?

Because Its a unique contest and plus requires some time, and given the amount of prize if the contest closes with just 5-6 entries it won't be good.

I suppose so. If there are between 0-10 entries, I might have to extend the contest, but all entries submitted will count. If there are more than 10, I will announce the results by Issue 78.

Well, the deadline is so that the contest winners can quickly be recognized and given awards. Otherwise, I'd have to wait a very long while.

I can't do that. I'll have to extend the contest as those are the rules for contests.

I can't do that because it won't be fair to everyone who did put in the effort to make a video as they would get no compensation for their time.

The idea behind the rules is that it has to be with more than one player participating, so find a buddy and do the video.

The rules was changes to reflect that idea, it will not be changed to suite your solo act wish.

Pure mistake, this is why the rules was improved, do with more than one tank.

Frodo do not fight alone and you can see it when he doesn't have the ring. It was a bad choice of example and you jump onto it, as usual.

And no what was written before is lost, and again the ideas behind the rules is you can't do it alone.

Humans make mistakes, he made one by saying that solo is better, can't you forgive him? Even if it was a deliberate change and not correction of mistake, you have to comply. I remember, back during CtS from April '17 I believe, @Hexed April-Fooled us all by setting the word limit at like 3k-5k, then midway through, revealed that the actual count was just 700-2k. People were annoyed, yes, but ultimately in half a month they managed to write pretty good entries. What I mean to say is, even though the example is terrible, you probably should get to work instead of complaining.

who's complaining about the fact that he changed the rules? i was merely stating that if he could change the rules once then why couldn't he change the rules a second time? cause i did not want him to extend the contest if there weren't enought participants, he said it's the rules for him to do so.. and i said he could change that rule just like how he changed the rules the last time.

 

beasically i was asking him to change the rules again and i don't care about the rule he already changed.

Guido, to be completely honest, you only argue about what benefits you. If you have just a little bit of common sense, try to understand the rule change and don't go on arguing about changing it again for the sake of your entry (which you wrote to try and gain an advantage out of a mistaken sentence) because it will not happen!

My Frodo's reference was about the first post and not yours.

The contest is simple - re-act a scene from any movie in Tanki, whether it be Frodo throwing the ring into Mount Doom or Optimus Prime fighting Megatron in New York. You can chose to make a video of any scene that you please.

Guido, to be completely honest, you only argue about what benefits you. I can't change that rule because it gives the player who gets first place all of the crystals and other rewards, and the other people who do make a video get nothing. That isn't fair. 

 

In regards to the earlier rule change, doing a solo scene doesn't count because it is far too easy to do. There has to be some challenge for contests if they have fairly hefty prizes, so that it doesn't end up being a crystal giveaway.

It won't win as all entries MUST be between more than a single person to be counted, so unfortunately no matter how great a solo fight scene is, it won't be considered.
