What do you do during the MM waiting time?

I usually take a look at my surroundings if it passes 5 seconds.

Seriously, the matchmaking sort out takes way and way too long; I'm topping out 2 minutes average.

been getting into live performances lately, and I’m pulling in YouTube concerts into iTunes for later listening

Two minutes is rare for me.  I have not taken notes but  I feel safe saying most take less than one minute.  More than just 51% too, more like 75-80%.

 

The longer waits predictably happen when I have a mode-specific mission. But quick battles are usually pretty quick.

Ah then I think I know the cause because I never do the quick battle option but go for Rugby or CTF,

I think it's also stupid that we can't do anything but to see that timer go up. In TankiX, you can let the matchmaking search on the background and keep chatting in the server or see your garage etc.

 

I can't do anything and the search takes too long it's annoying.

While waiting for a battle I listen to YouTube music.

 

Also, while waiting, I discovered the Music Thread on this forum and have been ruthlessly posting some of the music I like and finding tons of new music (to me anyway) that other players have posted.

 

In fact, I'm waiting for a Rugby battle right now!
