Twins Nerf

Two Magnums, two Isida, unbeatable. Absolutely overpowered combination.

 

Take note. The twins didn't matter on my team (me, first place, more score than third on the winning team). The twins didn't matter on the winning team. On the winning team, the Hammer mattered, but the Shaft was only annoying. The Rico and Thunder were also meaningless. The 2 and 2 were probably voice-communicating, but I bet they'd be just as effective without.

 

I predict 100% winning team with 2 Magnums and 2 Isida. Overpowered slaughter.

 

Twins is nothing compared to Magnum and Isida (nor Firebird nor Freeze).

Magnum is the most OP turret in Tanki and Thunder is almost as OP as Magnum. Both turrets need 10% damage nerf.

 

Hammer player was probably incredibly skilled, that is the reason of its high score. Thunder was probably a noob and rushed against enemies with Viking (played like Twins).

 

Twins probably did not get to its effective range (Titan?) or did not use RK.

Probably not. But I've learned to adapt to it. Not that hard TBH. Just keep your distance and be aware of your surroundings. Kinda like what you would do when up against a hunter.

I hate the impact it has.  When in your face it lifts even a medium hull up so far it can't shoot back.

Yeah. I've had a situation where I was about to kill this shaft player and the only thing that was preventing me from doing so was this twins player just shooting me which kept pushing me back.

 

I think IF hull alterations were made available to purchase with crystals, many would just flock to the weight increase alt, including myself.

I played on my mid-ranked alt account and seems that twins is pathetically weak at those ranks. If it is a true that twins haven't been nerfed for the two years that I haven't played on my main account, twins need a huge nerf at high ranks and a small buff at lower ranks.

At high ranks Twins is mostly nerfed by a massive amount of protection modules, but I agree that it needs an actual nerf since not everyone has a 50% Twins module. It's definitely one of the top 3 most powerful turrets at the moment, based on raw stats.

2 years later, I disagree, Twins is garbage tier now LOL. Vulcan basically replaced it.
