When tanki starts really dying, devs should folow the footsteps of runescape and make an oldschool edition, this could mean no one can complain about tanki being better in the old days. i liked 2012-2013 tanki the best, how about you guys?

We do not accept ideas about bringing back an older version of the game. Developers said multiple times that the demand for it is negligible and the amount of work required to actually do it is enormous.

I don't know what they do and whether it'sa standard thing for MMOs, but they said that the amount of work needed to bring back "old tanki" is equivalent to developing the whole game from scratch. They can't just copy-paste a backup version of the code and expect it to work.

Well, I am programmer, and when I think program is ready, i save it. If it fails, I copy paste it in new tab, and edit it there. Repeating process. So, I have code at every stage. If TO does that too, they can just copy-paste 2012/13/14's code and it will work and do whatever it was doing.

They can copy-paste that code together with all the bugs, lack of optimization, worse internal architecture, fewer options for buying . . . along with that horrible economy that 2012 had.

They can copy-paste that code together with all the bugs, lack of optimization, worse internal architecture, fewer options for buying . . . along with that horrible economy that 2012 had.

Ok, maybe not 2012, but 2014/15. I was playing then, it was good as it was. They can check updated codes for things like anti cheat and so.

 

Though anti cheat is not good now either, at least the one that kills you when you jump 1 meter over the closest tower in space parkour.
