Tom and the Muffin Monsters

There was a boy called Tom who had two elder brothers, Jack and Ben. He lived with

his family in Hong Kong.

One quiet Saturday night, everyone was sleeping. Suddenly, there was a loud BANG!

Jack and Ben woke up. They saw a big, awful monster outside the window. It looked

like a muffin. “What is going on?” asked Ben. Then, a massive muffin hand broke the

window, it grabbed Tom and threw him into the sky! Jack and Ben were so shocked,

they hid in a wardrobe.

The next morning, Dad woke up and discovered his sons were missing. After a search

he found Jack and Ben sleeping in the wardrobe. Dad woke them up and asked them

where Tom was. They told their Dad what had happened.

“They must be Muffin Monsters from Muffin Planet,” Dad said.

He called up a space scientist friend, Albie, and asked for his help. “The Muffin

Monsters are stealing kids on Earth to bake in their muffins. Their first target is Hong

Kong! Don’t worry, a spaceship will launch in few hours,” replied Albie.

Later that day, Dad and Albie went on board the spaceship. It took only two hours to

reach Muffin Planet! They stepped out and looked around, but nobody was there. Dad

thought all the Muffin Monsters had flown to Earth to steal kids. Dad and Albie were

hungry, so they broke into a bakery looking for food.

When they got inside, they heard a soft, crying sound. They couldn’t believe their

eyes. It was Tom tied to a chair! Dad untied Tom. Tom said, “This is an awful place,

let’s escape before the Muffin Monsters come back!” They ran back to the spaceship

and hurriedly got on board. The Captain gave the spaceship maximum power and they

arrived on Earth in no time.

Tom was happy to be back on Earth, but a nasty surprise awaited them. As soon as

tom, Dad and Albie walked out of the spaceship, they saw something terrible. There

were Muffin Monsters everywhere. The whole city had been destroyed. They couldn’t

find their way home and they couldn’t find Jack and Ben. Even worse, all the

children in Hong Kong were missing.

Tom’s Dad thought the Muffin Monsters had taken the children to bake into muffins!

Dad and Albie wanted to rescue them, but it was impossible to take so many children

in the spaceship. However, they came up with the idea of making a gigantic vacuum

quickly! When powered up, the vacuum really worked. It drew all the children back to

Earth in only 15 minutes. They were all safe and everyone was so happy.

Then, Dad and Albie reversed the vacuum and blew the Muffin Monsters not back to

Muffin Planet but into deep space where they floated around and around forever.

Article Approved.

A bemusing piece, somewhat illogical, but nonetheless a good read. Also, I must say it was a highly accurate piece.

And so the Muffin Monsters lived happily ever after orbiting Earth as a satellite, occasionally being fed mini muffins by NASA Astronauts.

Beyond deeply scarring me mentally, I'm afraid I don't see what this has to do with anything?

I thought it was relevant to the topic. Stories about muffins are not something you see every day.

Can anyone tell me how kais was deeply mentally scarred by this, or how is this an accurate piece, or why Chronicle couldn't sleep well that night?

Meh. Decent piece. Okay.

I was scarred by 3rdOnion's link and it's an accurate piece because, well, it is.

To be honest, I never clicked into that website until you post it here. And I still have no idea what the hell the website is about
