so if i leave the battle with 50% charge then the guy who joins to take my place will have 50% charge the moment he enters.

What about giving 1 crystal for every 10% of your overdrive charge at the end of battle? Sounds fair...

Seems pretty fair, because sometimes MMS puts me in a battle where it's almost ending and like 75% of the enemy team uses their overdrives 

it always puts me on the losing team because they know that I can carry them up

OverDrive is set up to be earned by points and healing (isida). That's why the winning team gets it more often than the losing team and why a team being spawn killed rarely gets it.

Which is why OD is broken.   It makes a losing team lose by a wider margin.   Makes "comebacks" almost impossible.
