But if this topic digress into Helpers activities and moderation, well... once it happens it will be locked, you know the rules.

I am just asking if it is funny. please don't digress into your suspiions about what it really is and use it as another excuse to close any topic you don't like.

that other mod explained why he does what he does, and i explained how what he does isnt what he's supposed to be doing.

aren't mods supposed to be mods to do the job of a mod?? or are they really mods to be part of a club?

And when they are not doing moderation they eat, sleep, go to school and hangs out.

the system should not be used as a platform for people to socialize. if one of them happens to have another friend who's also one then fine.. but when 99% of your friends are like that... it's pretty clear that they're using the system for another purporse other than what it was originally intended for.

Close relationships between colleagues are essential to make the work more funny and interesting. People need to talk to each other, otherwise they feel alone.

isnt it already fun enough to possess spectrum M-B and cool purple paint

I see absolutely nothing wrong with socializing with your co-workers. It's done every day in every business. They go to lunch together, go on breaks together, have drinks after work together. They have a common thread...work. They talk "shop," keep up with the latest office gossip. From the link they have together, they find other common interests. That's how friendship works. It just so happens that the common thread, here, is Tanki. They all work together, play together, socialize together. Nothing at all funny here and I'm not laughing because that's the way life is.

Lol, ok now you are mod and by the way you can't play the game with other mod, nor have a clan with them, nor play private battle with them.

Ok .... that is ultimately not funny and a box of pointless rules, it is a good thing that you are not running this house.

Remember that the rules are created by TO employee under supervision of the game owner that put them in charge.

for normal workers yes. but for people who work in a position of authority... is that so? ever heard of commanders partying together in plain sight of their troops?

of course you are free to do what you want. I'm just saying that if you decide to be like that then don't be surprised people are not inclined to listen to you.

your job is to maintain order, and there is no order right now.

I wonder why people don't listen to you helpers.

I still wonder if players still listen to you as well.  ^_^

And you should because you had some trouble with your Pro-pass.

I don't know were you lead us, you are quite confusing. You should try plain talking.

i don't listen to you helpers because i feel like you guys are just helpers to be part of an exclusive club and not actually here for buisiness. I only listen sometimes because i don't want to get banned, but when i know i won't get banned for doing something bad, i'll do it.

That is clear, thank you for sharing your feelings.

Gotta love the guy for this weird thought and bringing it out in public,

Reminds me how everyone is pulling the racism card when you come up with a controversial opinion, the hype around transgenders, the irrational feminism full of blind minds, ohhh those pour souls!.. and then some people finally stepping up as sane minority only to see their voice blocked and defended with absolute pure ignorance.

You can agree with him or not; but this topic makes something move.

Sometimes it is provoked by one of their "buddies".

I was in an Unofficial Organized event. There was gold to be dropped and I drop on my own volition. But one of those buddies kept singling me out and kept DD killing me even when it was understood that there was to be no killing. I abided by their rules. How do I know I was singled out? This person did not kill anyone else, only me, the gold dropper. When I tried to fire back, he had a couple near me to make sure my shot was accidentally "bumped" and it happened several times. I swore once and was banned for 24 hours. There was a moderator in the event. I plead my case, but they asked if the culprit did anything wrong according to the rules of parkour. I stated that there was an understanding that no killing would be done, but they countered with "it's not against the rules to shoot someone in parkour and that it was an unofficial event so I really don't have a case". Well, the guy who kept taking pot shots at me was also fully protected helper/mod of some sort and yet I got the ban.

So yes, this type of favoritism and abuse of power exists here.

Do I need to fear those who were appointed to serve the people?

I did and it was rejected. I had no "video proof" either.

I stopped complaining and just leave anytime I see that happening since the only thing they care about is that there is a video recording of it. Well, not all of us have online video recorders.

I know SOME (very very few) moderators are helpful, but after that incident, I don't really trust anyone of position. I'm not cursing them out, I just don't trust them to handle things the proper way when one of their own is involved.

most (actually every one i can think of  ) became one after they were already friends with other ones...

so i feel as if the actual most important requirement isn't one that's written in the list of requirements.
