Rest In Peace Roy Clark

Recommended Posts

Roy Clark, one of the world's best guitarists and player of multiple musical instruments, died on November 15, 2018, at the age of 85. I know this topic is a little late in coming, but I hope that will not take away from the talent of this phenomenal person. Clark was a country music icon, staring on the comedy show "Hee Haw" with Buck Owens. He was also well known for his awe striking performance of "Malaguena"  on the classical guitar. As a guitarist myself, I have taken much inspiration from the works of this man. Rest in peace, Roy Clark; We thank God for your life and are overjoyed that you are now safe in Heaven with Him in paradise.

yea he was  one of the all time legends . I use to watch him on Hee Haw and other country programs back when . His banjo picking stood out along with pop's ..when they did there old time  banjo picking  show downs ..or when on stage with Buck Owens playing .. the old blue grass music is not around much and its sad cause this was where music first got its roots from.. then moved up into other forms of styles.. one legend who will be missed..

I simply have no words to describe the talent that I just saw! Every time I watch him play this I can't help but think there's no one else alive that could do that. Thank you so much for sharing this with us!
