Anti-Ghost Keyboard

 Share

Recommended Posts

Been having this issue for a long time since I cannot press multiple keys at the same time - Meaning it is hard to play with freeze/firebird and most of the turrets + driving the hull.

I bought an anti-ghost mechanical keyboard couple of weeks ago but it did not work.

Does anybody know or have a current keyboard to able press multiple keys at the same time?

Which keyboard did you buy?

I've Rhod 110, it isn't 100% anti-ghosting but I don't have any ghosting problem.

I bought RECCAZR Mechanical Feel Gaming Keyboard. Did not work, not sure why even though it says it has 19 anti-ghost keys.

As I search for Rhod 110 keyboard - It comes up in European website, reckon they would deliver to the UK?  :o

Just switch controls to something like J-I-L-K?

Yeah but this keyboard does not allow to press more than 2 keys at the same time.

For example; Playing with freeze requires to press around 4-5 keys which doesn't let me and it goes in any game I want to play.

How do you get 4-5 keys for Freeze?

One key to shoot

One key to go forward

One key to turn while going forward

When I went to school, that equals 3 keys. What else are you doing with the other 1-2 keys? Are you trying to use supplies while attacking?

My gaming keyboard claims to be anti-ghosting, too, that's why I bought it. However, I found out that it's anti-ghosting as long as you use the keys they recommend, which are not the keys I use for Tanki. I use i, j, k, l if the ghosting is a big problem.

There are several alternative keys you can use. If you are able to, I suggest you make at least a one time purchase of either a pro battle pass or a one day premium, create a private battle (any mode and make sure you hit "private" button), max out the time and test all the keys possible for a combination that you can easily learn. Another thing you can do is instead of going around in circles, go in a square. The enemy is frozen anyway, so you'll have time to make that maneuver.

A gaming keyboard is ghosting, it's so disgusting. Pretty sure not all combinations would ghost try changing controls or read this article: [solution] Keyboard Jamming (Ghosting)

I got this keyboard as a reward of TankiX contest so they delivered it to me. Not sure how you can get it.

When buying a keyboard for such an use case, I'd recommend you to do some research first. My keyboard for example, even tho it's membrane, has a layout on their web page, displaying which keys are the "anti-ghosting" ones.

Also, searching for the keyboard you mentioned, they advertise it as mechanical FEELING, it's not actually mechanical. If you were to buy a real mechanical keyboard, such issues should not appear.

Hopefully you'll find a new keyboard that fits your requirements and is not too expensive, good luck.

Huh? Mine costs €180,-

That is £162 - I would never pay that much money for a keyboard. Do you see any difference between high price keyboard and low?

Yes but not that much. Most of the difference comes from mechanical vs non-mechanical in my opinion. I'd leave it aside if solving the ghosting issue is all you're after.

Yeah - I'm pretty much not interested in a fancy keyboard - All I want is the ghosting issue to go away so I can play in peace without having an control issue just like I did back in 2012-2013, can't remember which keyboard I had but it did not have ghosting issue.

Ohh I remember I once owned the Sharkoon Skiller; it's €20,- or something.. no ghosting. It also had the sleep button which I really liked; I could put the PC in sleep and power it back on from my keyboard. There are blue grippy rubber WASD keys which are nice for playing games.

One thing I didn't liked was that the power button is close to the printscreen so I sometimes shut down my machine accidentally while trying to make a screenshot.

Are you sure this is the keyboard you had and did not have any ghosting issue? About the sleep button - Can't you somehow turn the button off completely so it is not active? I barely take any printscreen as I have gyazo installed. Weird how a keyboard is able to turn the PC off.

This is it, right?

Yeah that's the exact one.

Don't mind the plaster buckets lol; this was four years ago and I were busy renovating upstairs.

It is a nice looking keyboard to be honest, no need for them flashy lights etc. I'm actually revonating my room at the moment and it is a mess. Funny thing is - I had the same table as yours shown above 5 years ago.
