Best Christmas gift & Did you kiss or get kissed under the Mistletoe?

 Share

Recommended Posts

The Holidays are over and we all have pretty much settled into our usual routines. There are 2 questions to be answered:

1...Thinking back to Christmas, what was the best gift you received?

2...Did you kiss someone or did someone kiss you under the Mistletoe?

For me, the only family I have left is my Sister-in-Law. Being able to spend time with family, even if it's an extended family, is the best gift I could get.

I had some real mistletoe hanging in the living room, but no one came over. So, I kissed my dogs and my dogs kissed me under the mistletoe. My Sis-in-Law didn't have any hanging.

I have been studying for my exams bro, what are you talking about

Read my post. I'm asking what your best gift was for Christmas and if you got kissed under the mistletoe or if someone kissed you. Or are you saying you study so hard for your exams that Christmas came and went without you knowing about it?

"Did you kiss or get kissed under the Mistletoe?"

Does this actually happen in real life? :/

Yes, it does.

I remember as a kid, every house I went into had real mistletoe hanging someplace in the main part of the house. As I grew older, real mistletoe became more scarce, a Company started making fake mistletoe and the tradition continued. But as the years went by, the tradition became less popular.

I had a small Christmas party at my house, just close friends and a few neighbors. I found a piece of Mistletoe lying on the ground in my yard. I hung it from the living room chandelier. A lot of killing and hugging went on that evening. Enough said.

is "kill" a slang for kiss? long ago, i met this.. nevermind.. anyway she was british and she asked if i was going to kill her... i actually thought she really thought if i wanted to kill her so i replied "... what!?... of course not" and after a pause i asked why she asked that and she said that it's because I'm unpredictable. she then continued "being unpredictable is good... " and continued gazing at me. i didn't understand at that time so i just told her goodbye and turned and left. we had arranged to leet again before that but afterthat i never managed to contact her again. and that was when i began to suspect that kill meant kiss so i tried googleing it but i didn't find any slang uses of kill that could also mean kiss. english is not my language so naturally i don't know anything about english slangs

As many times as I proof read that, I never noticed the error. No, "killing" is not a slang for "kissing." There was no killings at the party, only kissing. I apologize for the typographical error.

I repeat: No killing, just a lot of love spread around. Thank you for bringing that to my attention.
