Declined Promo codes - legibility

Found two promo codes in v-log 200 today but they are not exactly very clear.

 

Might it be an idea to make it more obvious which letters are which, because I tried every connotation of these and none of them worked.

 

It is hard to tell if the 0s are capital o's or zeroes.

It is hard to tell if the Ds are captial o's or zeroes or capital d's.

It is hard to tell if the l's are capital i's or 1's.

It is hard to tell if the 5's are capital s's or indeed 5s.

It is hard to tell if the B's are capital b's or 8s.

 

 

Maybe make them larger, or clearer?

Or larger AND clearer but flash up on the screen for a short duration to compensate?

Promo codes aren't meant to be easily noticeable and easily readable. The reason you were getting it wrong is most likely because someone else already got the code before you. So next time you see promo codes which are hard to see - try different combinations and see if you get lucky. Also, try to remember how the letters and digits look with the font they usually use. That way you won't confuse a capital "i" with a 1.
