What is the last hack you saw in Tanki

Yep, happens to me, too. I'd get salvoed from Striker without a laser. Yesterday on Bridges there was an enemy Striker sitting on the bridge and never once saw a laser. 

 

The only way you can catch these hackers is to record each and every battle....ya know, just in case.

I saw what I think is a hack that has like an anti-recoil effect. The tank recoils after a shot but it quickly return to original position.

Have definitely seen at least one Striker hacker recently, some jumping hack + instant salvos. Didn't record the battle, but reported them in chat and the account (was a Master Sergeant) seems to be inactive now.

 

Might have seen another instant salvo hack a few days ago, but didn't get the account name.

It is pointless to name and shame here, use the in-game vote option or the forum report topic, because it is they are the most efficient way to deal with them.

i use vote option, but nothing happens ever to the hacker

 

here's the most efficient way:

 

we report on this forum like i just posted the profile

 

mods forward profile to devs, devs to battle mods.

when these hackers come online, whichever battle mod is there at that time, should see his battle.

drop a gold and see if he hacks.

 

he is most likely to hack again.

 

then ban the account for 1 month atleast, if its the first time.

 

 

if they were interested in preventing hacks, this would be easy to implement.

 

each time a forum user reports a profile who is found to hack, they get +5 to karma.

if within a month the profile doesn't hack, reporter gets -1 to karma.

 

karma < -10 => forum user no longer allowed to report profiles.

Just saying someone hacked or some other violation is not proof enough, that's why this forum http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showforum=158 exists. You need proof...a video...of the violation.

 

Gold drop boxes, except those owned by players, are random. No one has control over them. 

 

EDIT: I just realized that the report violation section was moved to the RU forum. @Viking4s is correct.

Saw a Striker sending me 8 rockets without even locking me for half a second.

There's a alteration for Striker that shoots 8 rockets, but increases the lock-on time.

 

Maybe you couldn't notice that he/she was locking on you in the heat of battle?

I've seen that hack, too, but it was with the usual salvo. The hack is the laser. I was playing CTF on Bridges. There was a Striker and Railgun sitting on a bridge covering our base. I usually see the lasers, but was surprised when I was salvoed. I saw the Striker and watched as it zeroed in on a teammate....no laser. Then it zeroed in on me (I was looking directly at the barrel)....no laser. After I respawned, I attacked it with Vulcan. I got its attention. It zeroed in on me....no laser.

I saw a jump hacker on Pass map 2 years ago he was dictator firebird not turning turret kept getting on buildings and self destruct and I saw a suspicious thing in new year map someone using speed hack in Recruit rank to catch metoirite gold box easily but not sure 100% if it was really a hack  :mellow:

Today on Bridges TDM. Two tanks, one in front of the other, went on a bridge. The one in front was attacked and killed in 2 shots. The second one backed down to the foot of the bridge, waited a moment, then jet propelled across the bridge, stopped a moment beside a building and continued at a normal pace. Speed hack.
