they don't have enough time to celebrate every celebration in the world so they can chose what they want to celebrate. if they don't chose what you like then too bad

sorry but . I have complained over the years on so many issues about celebrating others and not everyone's. I even did my own posts in the past on others celebrating events in the forum. so I stand up for all not just my country. I also sent in a complaint to the main office to have them look into this more for other country's and change two maps . I stand united as one ,

there are many other things that could have been used for them as landmarks..

 

think about what others have said over the years on how they don't appreciate how players can hit the mosque but no one can hit the Christ statue or even in the Christmas map the photo in the back ground .

 

also still wondering why , when were a English server , why we still don't have a map for us . such as the British / Canada / or even USA stuff on a map.. ?? been asking for one for years for the English players..

Wait, Rio has a Christ the Redeemer statue? Where? I agree with CooperO that these are landmarks, not religious things in Tanki.

 

yupe its on the mountain on the side back ground.. they made this map for the Brazil location. but nothing for the British or other players.

 

Oh it's in the skybox - I was thinking that I'd gone pretty much everywhere there is to go in Rio when doing Space parkour, but there's no skybox in space mode.

i read all previous comments on this topic and i just wanna said you guys start talk about religion here and i don't think this is correct place to talk this and yeah i can understand what muslims said but please try to understand others too "Holi" is a festival of colours and enjoyment yeah it's start in hinduism but mostly people not see this festival as a religion, not hindus too, they just enjoy that day and my views about "Eid" - i know eid is the famous festival for muslims but what you guys think what type of celebration tanki will release for Eid, for sure no animated paint because i try to think but i failed lol. yeah they can release sales on that day or something else but animated paint naah. 
btw other festivals come once in a year so tanki celebrate it, i think.

See what Viking4s said before. It's not about religion, it's about celebration. They did it because of the theme and neither mentioned nor focused on the faith behind it. Stop saying Tanki is doing nothing for this or the other religion.

At last, the one sane person in this forum.

sir if this is the case then why is Rio still has the    Christ the Redeemer    statue still in the map on top of the hill ..along with Iran has a  mosque in its map..players have complained about it for year to have them removed.

The reason is simple. Those are landmarks that define the location. You go to Iran, you're likely to see a Mosque. You go to Rio and guess what... that massive Jesus statue is gonna be visible from practically anywhere. Removing those would be like having a map of the Arctic Circle and not having a polar bear featured in it.

your missing the point. how would like it if someone constantly hit your place of worship in a battle would you like it , more then likely not .. so why should we do it to others place of worship . lets have some respect for them. ..why not replace the mosque and have it in the back ground as a picture like in Rio. why directly in the battle field . also after what happened in New Zealand and other places , hate crime on Mosques are not right. even if this is only a game it can send out the wrong message to others and take it out in real life.

I understand that , I was here when this was discussed . seeing things have been changing and he is no longer working for the company..

 

why not only have the map used in only pro battles instead of regular  MM . this way its fully up to the players then if they wanted to continue to use the maps. if they wont change it.. this is the only solution I can think of . instead of sending out hate messages and yea its not tankis intentions on doing this .
