i don't understand... do you start counting from the actual date they stated having their own isiues? or just the date of their first article

how? part of this question was asked in a previous newspaper quiz before. arabic was part of it, for this you just have to insert russian and german.

Result announcements:

 

Since the question was not as clear as I thought at first, I chose to accept two versions as correct answers:

1st: French, Hindi, Arabic, German, English, Russian

2nd: French, Hindi, German, Arabic, English, Russian

 

Explanation: The difference between these two versions was in interpretation of the term Newspaper and what is considered its start. The first version considers the option when only the standalone Main topics are counted as the the start of the Newspaper since the release of the first main topic equaled to the fact that reporters have been hired and the foundation was established.

 

The second version considers the first Arabic articles. Although, technically these articles haven't been posted in separate section or under a separate main topic, the first Arabic writers have had their "own section" inside the EN paper and have also operated partially as a separate team. I was considering the fact that French articles appeared also much before the official standalone French paper, although I decided to not include these as they have been from the pen of a single writer who for most of the time wasn't a reporter or dedicated French reporter and so we cannot really talk about French Newspaper at this point.

 

So here are the winners in order:

wow i answered late so i was hoping for a chance for last place.. can't believe i got 2nd.

 

this was so freaking easy, there answers were already almost given here for a previous question that asked to rank french, arabic, english and hindi. http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=365818&hl= and all you had to do was add in russian (which is the oldest obiously) and german. this form took a long time to get closed, I can't imagine how all these people couldn't figure out the easiest question ever.
