the most ambitious thing i have done with lego is to make a full fledged ship with a pool facility along with a diving board on deck.

Nice! I have had more luck with Hero factory but I tried to recreate Iron man's hall of armour and his robots, dum-e and u.

I didnt take any photos and now my lego kit is gone to younger cousins

My entire experience with Lego is standard kids’ freeform stuff... Houses, cars, houses on cars, houses on planes, planes on houses... A lot of guns... A pizza shop with a toilet next to it... Yeah, the usual. We never really used specialised sets though. Too little space for creativity in them.
