Sometimes you're hitting your head against the wall when you want to know something about your account but you can't remember. That's why this feature may be very useful.

You may as at help@tankionline.com

"When is my account created?" - "19th of June 2011"  or
"When did I buy Railgun M3?" - "30th of April 2013" and any data like this. The idea is if you forget something you want to know just contact help@tankionline.com and they will ask some authorization questions.

This information is exactly what's used when returning an account. If tech support gave it away, a thief could just ask all the information bit by bit until they have enough to steal the account by claiming to be the owner. And if you need to answer security questions in order to get the information, then there is no point, since you already know enough in order to verify that you are the owner.

Isn't this topic called "...via email"?

If you link your account to an email, you should be able to request info only through that email. I think you can assume the email wasn't hacked.

I remember that someone in the forum shared his account's creation date data with us. He sent an e-mail to help@tankionline.com and he asked the creation date of his acc. And Support replied him with the answer. 

 

I'm not sure but as far as I know, you can learn some datas of your acc from Tanki Online Support.

I remember this too. What the heck, so imagine all the players who created their accounts years and years ago, so Maf is telling me that they’re supposed to remember the exact date of account creation if they get asked by support? Why devs, just why?

 

I’m screwed then if I ever lose access to my account/it gets hacked because I know I created this account in early 2013 but I have no idea about the date, or even the month for that matter.

No, not the exact date. When you try to answer the identity questions just answer to the best of your knowledge. If you registered years ago, then approximate month and year will be enough. You don't need to answer everything correctly - just provide enough info to prove that you're the only one who could have known it since you registered and used the account.

Fair enough, but I personally am also really curious about when exactly I created my account and I was thinking of asking support, but it seems this isn’t possible sadly.

I've gotten to know when my account was created via email. It's already out there and valid.

There are certain procedures that the Tech Support asks you to follow (like a Screenshot of your IP address etc)

Then they validate your data and you're all set.

My account was created on 27th Aug 2014 ^^
