Booted out of games all the time.

The thing is for me and my drone is that I have to redo the mines I laid all of the time.  Eventually I feel like giving up as it costs me supplies  It is so wasteful if the stability is poor.

I kind of understand why some people now just roam the map randomly just pressing FIRE all of the time, it's a gamble if you will make it to the end of the game to collect crystals.

I think there should be bans that last a week for people who only sabotage games.

Server error.  Waste of my supplies and no crystals to show for it.  Plus a waste of my time.

On the contrary. A picture is worth a thousand words.

And in this case, and in taking this post independently (as to what I remember his opinion of tanki to generally be), he is of the opinion that the matchmaking system is terrible (based on what his team achieved and what his enemies achieved).

I am of the opinion that skill issue. MM got him in there to carry, and carry he did not.

In any competitive game the carry potential always exist and you can always do better even if you did extremely well, but it is not an excuse for a bad match making system. Fair play must be met in order to be able to carry. I can't put a player at a disadvantage and tell him you could have done this and that to carry. Based on your argument even against hackers players can still do better and carry so they should not complain about how unfair the match was. It is a bad match making system when you can only win by carrying and doing way more effort than normal.

Carrying is a waste of time and resources--as the score (and rewards) can attest.

The various titles and contents probably did not restrict posting to just text, though...

 

I have not been a forum visitor for all that long (relatively speaking).

Only when game wait-times skyrocketed (as players left) and with terrible matchfaking teams, it created an inevitable boredom that was alleviated (slightly) by joining the forum. This might surprise you, but back in the day, I tried to give actual constructive ideas to help cease the loss of players. At the time, I was not aware that the developers did not give a flying f for any suggestions that would not make their investors (more) money. (So I thereafter laughed at the statements of 'constructive criticism'--as it should be re-worded to 'money making suggestions')

Either way, if legacy started it, congo continued it.

It says something to me. It very vividly describes something to me. I'm sorry you don't have that insight.

Maybe you're a buyer and forget what it's like to play as a non buyer?

Maybe you get a lot of free mod-stuff for your accounts and forget that you have to grind with lesser equipment to be in the top 3?

Not sure, only you can answer why that picture didn't tell you a story.

You can--and do--'play' however you feel on any given day. That has been proven time and time again.  

 

The last time I posted a picture of the number of views the 'helpers' thread got, it jumped by 50 views overnight.

The last time I posted a 'this thread should be unpinned' due to several months of inactivity, 4 posts magically appeared within 24 hours.

 

You'd think if you'd want to save the forum of which you personally identify with, you'd delete less and join the conversation more.

I mean... the whole point of a forum is posts. Not rules to delete them.

Why don´t you just  turn the game into exclusive pay-to-play mode?  It used to be fun years ago, but now you just hava completely unbalanced matches due to  some users becoming almost indestructible, since they buy lots of armour and fire power.

Tha game has just been spoiled by greed - if you need to keep players who buy stuff,  they should have their own match area and get not mixed up with regular, free matches.

As you may have already noticed, the Complaint Book topic has been closed. The reason for this change is simple: over time, both the Complaint Book and the “What Is Your Opinion About the Current State of Tanki Online?” topic were being used for the exact same purpose — sharing feedback, raising concerns, and discussing the state of the game.

To avoid splitting conversations and to make sure your voices are heard more clearly in one place, all future complaints, suggestions, and constructive criticism should now be posted here in this topic.

Hey @Maf , speaking of 'forum lore', how many times has tanki closed the complaint threads and re-started as another complaints thread or (now) something else?

 

The only reason the complaints thread and TCSOTO were similar in posts is because most of the players don't really like tanki and/or the current state of tanki.

You can't make the game crappier and expect no one to voice their opinion AND complain about it.

But I guess shutting down one negative thread is one way to reduce negative reviews of tanki.

Twice, I think? In the old forum engine, once a thread got too many pages of replies, it would cause the whole section to load extremely slowly. For the same reason we restarted Photo of the Day and Tanki World Records.
