Hello tankers!

 

As part of our International Women’s Day celebrations, we’re inviting you to take part in the themed coloring contest «Paint the tank».

 

Your task is to color one of the tank designs we’ve created for you. You can find them on this special site.

 

Upload your finished work to any image hosting (e.g. imgur.com or prnt.sc)  (https://help.tankionline.com/knowledge-bases/7/articles/2315-how-to-upload-an-image) and send it to us via this form.

 

Make sure you include your nickname in the artwork.

 

We will have two categories:

• Digital coloring, using a graphics editor
• Physical coloring, using pens, pencils, crayons, acrylics, oil colors, etc

 

Here are the prizes for each category:

• 1st place: any XT skin of your choice, 50,000 crystals and 15 containers;
• 2nd place: an animated paint (only from containers) of your choice, 40,000 crystals and 10 containers;
• 3rd place: a non-animated paint (only from containers) of your choice, 30,000 crystals and 8 containers;
• 4th place: 20,000 crystals, 5 containers and 5 gold boxes;
• 5th place: 15,000 crystals, 3 containers and 3 gold boxes.

 

Honorable mentions that do not make it into the top 5, will  receive a consolation prize of 10,000 Crystals and 8 Containers each.

 

• Deadline for submissions is 15:00 UTC on March 15th.
• Results will be published on March 17th during the day.

Does coloring the headlights for the hornet in the hornet smoky template still count as coloring? Or does it count as drawing and lead to disqualification? Because the outlines for the lights are not included.

Some of the edges are all pixellated. Other than that, I like it.

Misread your post.  

As for the consolation prize, I think that it depends based on the other entries.

I don't know what the other entries look like so I wouldn't be able to give a definitive answer, no matter what a drawing looks like.

Only after viewing your email tank pic I understood that the shaft has got an XT skin equipped. Did you use ms paint too?

Yes I did. Btw I spent 4 hours on Shaft XT just to get a minimal pixel count with the paint bucket + brush. I did the same with Viking XT and the background too.

As it has not been specifically announced in the main post that you're allowed to make such modifications to the provided tank design images other than to of course colour them, it is safe to assume that you cannot, and it would defeat the purpose of this contest anyway.

 

which when the judging finally took place the CM and judges changed the guidelines .. leaving those who did follow rules in the dark and not win prizes .

in future I would like to see the CM"S who posting these events give better instructions / guidelines for all to go by..
