What is the scientific idea behind the increased damage of the weapon?

I dont mean the increased firerate, but the increased damage per shot.

What exactly do you mean? Are you referring to Railgun's alterations and their descriptions by any chance?

There aren't really scientific explanations to everything in the game - it's just an arcade shooter.

If you really want a reason for something, then, umm... QUANTUM MECHANICS!

There is science and there is tanki. Don't forget, that you are not playing science offline!

More force = More damage

So, the more mass each bullets have, the more damage, hence "High-Caliber" Railgun's damage buff.

Are you referring to Large Caliber Rounds alteration of Railgun.? 

It's meant to deal a large amount damage per shot, but the reload time is also increased, so that the damage per minute is nearly as same as the stock Railgun.
