As I'm rotting away in the house, I can't help but think of the summers that my friends and I spent together enjoying the time off. Every morning, I wake up with pangs of nostalgia, longing to go back to when life was normal. All I can think of doing is writing these memories down so I can go back to somewhere when I eventually lose my mind. PR, you've lost your mind multiple times already. I don't know who you're trying to fool with this sentence.

 

 Task: Write about one of your own Tanki experiences that brings back old memories. Anything from your first match to the time you met your best friend in the game counts. It may be very tempting to write "this game sucks now 2014 was way better", so I will warn you, please refrain from criticizing the game. The task is to write about a memory related to you, not something that the game could do better. If you have a visual aid, feel free to send along a screenshot if you have one to set the scene.

Hello, I was excited about a Goldbox which was dropping.

I took it with 0 hp at the end.

I was so glad about that because i needed crystals to upgrade hulls and turrets in the garage.

In that time my nickname was "tanki-zerstrer2" (see 0:10 min in the video and you can ask chatadministration about my first nickname).

It was an amazing time and i will never forget the feeling when there stood "Goldbox wird bald abgeworfen,"

There was a time I would look with envy at those M3 kits in battle. I thought it was impossible for me to reach the level where I would be able to get an M3 kit.

But even at the lower levels I was kind of buff because I upgraded everything I had. Some thought because I had buff equipment they sought my advice.

They gave users access to drop golds. I think I had the wrong technique for catching golds. Still working on it.

But back then when there was a Race For Gold, it was organized and everyone kept themselves in line. It was a more civilized time.

I was far from being the biggest dropper. But I did get invited to drop for TS7. He was doing a project but I had no idea what it was, so all I did was drop. He allowed me to be a different paint from the others. Here is the end-product of his project:

When I first started playing this game the crystalboxes where everywhere. In the start of playing i was only focussed at getting the crystalboxen and making it somesort of battle for myself to get as much as possible. With sometimes a goldbox♥. And than the ranking up so i came quite addicted to the game.

My memorable moments in tanki...

6 years back, in 2014, I was in 5th grade and me and my buddies would play tanki online all day. One day, a friend of mine came to my home for a sleep over and we played tanki for 8 hours! We started playing tanki at around the same time, but my friend, krish123_GTO started playing before us and he introduced the game to us. my nickname was dev308, and one other friend was chinu667. Well, all 3 of these accounts are banned now because we used some sort of fly hack/jump hack. I remember krish123_GTO helping me gather crystal boxes and gold boxes so that I could buy Firebird M1 for 7100 crystals. I reached captain rank later, with a lot of M1 turrets and hulls. I know this was supposed to be only 1 memory but its really hard to choose from all these wonderful memories. It's okay if i get disqualified but this contest helped me remember all those moments.

I remember when I caught my first goldbox. At that time I was shakes with fear when it drops. I saw the the dropping zone, and there was a freeze with me. I think he was not thinking about sharing the gold with me, because he killed me, but, there is no despair with life, nor life with despair. I spawned in a near point from the dropping zone. I went to get my right back. I killed him with my supernatural ricochet. Fortunately for me, nobody else was there. The gold was dropping slowly. Then, it touched my tank. I had the one thousand crystals. I was very happy at that time. Because, it was my first goldbox catch.

I have been playing this game with multiple accounts for 7 years and there are a lot of memorable moments with my friends,brother, etc.

Today I will write one of them.
When I started playing this game with brother, we use to play "a lot" with each other and I think we were considered as a "best Duo" in battle. So it was the month of April 2015 and TO was celebrating April fool, I and my brother were very excited about it as it was our best event which we would wait for a year.

So for that, I and my brother played a lot. We would challenge each other in taking golds. So, in one battle, a gold drops, it was a normal gold for me and my brother but that was NOT normal, When it dropped my brother was very sure that he would take that gold, chances were almost 100% and I was not happy about that, I was sort of jealous from him as he was pro in taking golds, So when the gold was dropping he was nearly at the edge of gold when I KILLED him...First, I was happy but when another player took it, IT WAS 5K, and I could not believe my eyes. We both were like: "plz don't make him the first one to catch that" BUT HE WAS...
I was very sad and heartbroken as IPOD was MY dream at that time, and everything just changed in a SECOND because of me and i cried alot. I could not forgot that scene for several months.
That was the most memorable day for me till now.
But that's not it, we both have played together and won a lot of big contests, events (but not bigger than this) so, we enjoyed it a lot.

Sadly, 2-3 years ago he left TO for his studies but I still remember a lot of memorable moments which I have done with him and till now I have not seen any player like him

I really hope i would find a tanker like him.

I was a mere Third Lieutenant in 2014; me and my friend @50_Quid had heard about the secret room underneath Ping-Pong created for THE GAME and we decided we had to check it out. Being relatively new to tanki, parkour was a foreign concept to both of us and as such even getting onto the ledge proved to be quite an issue to begin with. After many attempts and many combinations of hull and turret, we found that hornet rico and viking rico would be the best combo to boost me up there.

Now for the hard part: the perilous descent

Now, to this day I am not the most proficient parkourist so you will have to imagine my frustration 6 years ago as time after time my tank fell off the ledge or flipped upside down whilst trying to find the smallest of ledges to grasp onto. Despite the adversity faced, @50_Quid remained optimistic as ever in helping me climb back onto the ledge after every failure. It mustve taken us at least 50 tries in total but we finally got there, and out of all the gold box catches, rankups and battle finish screenshots from my tanki career, this snap is definitely my proudest moment and fondest memory:

i had been playing this game since 2013-14. I had some very sweet and exciting moments in this game. When I first started this game it looked like i would never reach the final rank. But this game got more and more exciting. I developed my skills by playing tanki online. This might probably be the first and the only game i played. Before this i did not play any game. My friends in school used to talk about this game and i sat close to them listening to their tales about the game. After my curiosity got better of me i went home and tried this game. I was a complete stranger to this game like it was to me. I tried playing with my friends but they were already a pro at this game. 3 months later i challenged them to a battle and i won fair and square. Now I am very good at playing juggernaut battles. At the time i started tanki there were xt skins in garage and i would very much envy them. There were kits in garage which i longed to buy. When i bought my first m2 at rank WO5 i would destroy and beat up enemies in juggernaut battles. Below are some of my best moments i had in this game

"My first Tanki Friend"

When I joined "Tanki", the game play was not as demanding and challenging like now. I enjoyed the relaxed game play and especially focused on doing my three daily missions per day. I would switch servers to find "Breast" and "Highways" maps with least number of players, so I can quickly finish the missions. 

Picking up supplies only counted towards mission if there was at least one opponent.  The others doing their supply missions would leave after they were done. So, sometimes I would wait until someone joined as opponent. While waiting, I would wander around, even race my tank from one end to end and see how much time it would take with speed boost and without speed boost, :))... fun times. One time as I was waiting, a high ranker joined the map. I had to be cautious as higher ranks would just try to shoot and kill. I was on the bridge and he rezzed close and approached from opposite side. I had my turret ready pointed at him in case he fired. I was not going to go down easy. He pointed his railgun at me and as we approached closer, "NO KILL" read the chat. Notice all CAPS? authoritative.... high rankers eh...With relief, I typed back "Yes, no kill". We went on to collect supplies. "No leave, I finish mission", he typed. I said "Ok" and I waited until he is done. A pleasant Russian for a change. Just kidding. Anyway, we became good friends eventually.

My first and best memory is from 2014 when i had just started playing the game i was playing a battle in brest when a golden text saying "Gold Box will be dropped soon" i was confused since i didnt know at the time what a goldbox was 3 minutes passed no one had taken it yet then i went to the backside of my base and found a golden box i picked it up and was confused then i looked up to my crystals and then was shocked to see i had 1k crystals more than i previously had, I asked people if this was a bug and then they told me about the magical thing known as a gold box.This was my first gold box i dont use that acc anymore but i can provide u the link to its rating page https://ratings.tankionline.com/en/user/hashimb

Man, I remember this one time I joined a Space Silence parkour battle. I jumped onto the wall behind blue's base to escape the chaos unfolding from the miners and the butthurt kids with a credit card. When I got to the top, I discovered someone with the same combination of me, with the name Captain_Brock. We were both Wasp + Railgun users.

 

As the smart man as I was, I of course challenged him to a duel. Not a shooting duel, but a JOUSTING duel. We started jousting, and I was performing well... until I wasn't. I fell off multiple times and lost my status of the champion. Then I proposed we became a gladiator tandem.

 

Alas, the strongest gladiator duo was formed. Fear us, the gladiatees!

 

And since we were done with the boring wall, not only did we aqquire accents, but we conquered some buildings using OMP!

My favorite memory from Tanki that I recall is catching my first ever goldbox. I remember, it was a beautiful day on Polygon. My noobiness got the best of me, so the combo that I was using was vulcan mammoth. And then, out of the blue, the holy notification appeared at the top of my screen: Gold Box Will Be Dropped Soon. Since I'd never actually seen too many goldboxes before, I wasn't really supposed to be familiar with the concept of one. However, being a Claudiu viewer, I'd known what the drop zone would look like, so I immediately scanned the entire map for it. After some time, I found it. I pushed and shoved my way through everyone arriving at the drop zone. The gold box was so close to touching a tank! Unfortunately, the worst thing possible happened: my screen froze. I was so nervous, and I thought I was done for. A couple of seconds later, however, the screen started moving again, and there was the notification: Hu4q4ab Has Taken the Gold Box. I cheered, and breathed a huge sigh of relief. I had done it! I had finally caught the prized gold!

The best memory I remember is when I first got Thunder. In the past, I was using Firebird, Smoky, and Railgun. I didn't like them that much because they didn't feel right for me. But when I was introduced to Thunder, I instantly fell in love with it. I loved its damage and other aspects. This turret, along with my favorite hull, made me create the account called "thunderhunter123". From that day on, I knew that this would be my main account. I continue daily to improve my account and make it perfect. I use my favorite combination most of the time, and enjoy the game with my fellow tankers. My nickname helps me daily by reminding me of the good old days and why I like Tanki Online. It allows me to keep going. I thank you.

My Favorite moment in Tanki is:
 6 years back me and my cousins had started playing Tanki Online. My rank was Sergeant and I still did not know about the Gold box. After a few days, I went to cousins home for a night and he caught a gold. I asked him about that golden box and he told me that it gives 1000 crystals for free. This increases my interest in the game. After 2-3 days I caught my first gold in Sandal. It was on the bridge. I took my cousins for a drink in this respect. That was the best day of Tanki Online and I could not sleep the whole night (I slept at midnight).

I remember when i took railgun M0. Wheb i started the game i said " i will never buy any turret or hull because they are same". Firstly i bought titan M0 because it costed 0 crystals. I tryed it but i said: "I hate this hull. It is so slow. I will never play again with this hull!!" After this i bought striker because the man who learnt me tanki said to me: "Buy striker. It is good. You can shot with two ways!!" So i bought it. Then vulkan because it was i minigun qmd i like miniguns.XD Then i bought fire because it is OP and you get easy kills. Then isida because i saw i tanki picture with isida. It was laser. When i started playing with isida i saw only a ball when i pressed space. I said: "RIP  crystals" Then i bought shaft because shafts kill people with one shot. After playing with it i saw that it is sniper!!!!!! then i bought rail because rail was shoting beautiful bullets. LOL

Memories of 2013: in 2013 I was not strong on tanki when I arrived. By dint of joining I had a group of friends! we spent all our evenings and weekends playing together. When we were partly a lot of players made fun of me because they didn't find me strong. But by dint of playing with my group of friends I became strong. Unfortunately one fine day they stopped tanki and I continued to play. Thanks again my friends.
