Ok this is stupid. I recently bought the lifeguard drone because I wanted to catch meteorite golds the easier way, only finding out it sucks for everything else. NOW THEY GIVE IT TO ME FOR FREE. THANKS FOR MAKING ME WASTE 100k CRYSTALS.

I don't know about that. I personally have a lot of trouble with enemies who get an instant heal back to full when I destroy them. Gives them a significant advantage and I see quite a few people using it in normal games.

@sensei_tanker Same here, but what do I have to complain? The drone was at discount back then and I could easily afford it, plus it gave me some (barely noticeable) advantages when catching meteorites. Also, tomorrow there will be a new gift for us so that is something to look forward too, it might be a better/worse surprise than the one we received today. 

You can also see it from this side: next time a meteorite-event is launced, there will not be people with a larger advantage since everyone has the drone. 

 

*It's too bad we have already bought the drone and threw away 100k in the end, but people can say the same about the Miner of Blaster drone. Honestly I dont really care, since I never use the Lifeguard drone in normal MM-gameplay

should i even bother to pick up the free drone? i got 3 drones and i regularly upgrade them yet i cannot use them because of lack of batteries.

i dont get it, why do people complain when they give you something for free, in a free game. i complain about the game overall because it can be unfun, but complaining about them giving a free drone? "ooo i already have this and and and it made someone else happy because they didnt have to pay for it like i did with in game currency and and and now im upset that someone else is happy". if you paid for it you got to use it before anyone who got it free got to use it, no matter how short of a time that may be. not to mention that its a 1 day thing, people who miss the day will miss out.

My economic situation in the game is very different than yours. I bought the drone because I thought it would be a good investment so I can make up for the money lost through meteorite golds. Little did I know I just threw 100k cyrstals down the drain.

From my observation, the lifeguard drone is pretty good for a camper, especially playing TDM.
