Hi i have been a non buyer since i started playing TO my main account is currently Nuclearpakistanii

I used to buy, but I'm no longer a buyer, due to very big P2W updates. I'm close to getting Smoky to Mk7 and Viking to Mk6, so gg. I have 4-5 animated paints and NO skins. I also have the Game 2020 and Penguins paint.

Well, i had mk7s at your rank, and i am a fully non buyer. Try to choose some combos, and upgrade them, instead of upgrading many turrets.

hard disagree .playing with one combo takes out all the fun .you just had a developed combo .i mainly use turrets that dont need much upgrades like firebird and shaft while saving upto buy alts and chilling .at least two combos are require to be fully prepared for any situation

Both your opinions are right. I'm a non buyer too and almost have an Mk7. I use 2 turrets(recently started using Shaft) to avoid getting bored. While diversity is important it is also necessary that you keep in mind your saving as a F2P. Hence I'd recommend at max 2 combos. Or maybe one Hull and two Turrets, like me.

well i had 4 m2s before the mk system update i used all of them but for some reason they became mk4 instead of mk6 i mean how does that make sense if you had an fully upgraded m1 10/10 they made it mk6 and the m2s i had were made into mk4s

ya well i was stuck at warrant officer 5 with four m1 ,1 m2 combo not playing for like 3-4 years . so yeah it's been hard for me when i came online 3 months ago .since then ive ranked about 9 times and increased my k/d by .12 .it's not easy

F2P players in my opinion do very well to get anything out of a battle as they are disadvantaged big time. I  played 1 battle with no drones are alts and allowed myself 3 of each supply and i never used my overdrive. i came 3rd from bottom on losing team. i didn't have the nerve to screen it i was gutted.

Well, i don't say that he should only use one combi, use more, but he shouldn't upgradeany turrets, just a few.

What? They didn't make mk6s from m1 10/10s.

To be honest, it's quite decent. Maybe you should upgrade your Gauss to mk5 10/10, and then get the other 2 to 4/10 or 3/10, and then just buy mk6s during sales. Once you get those, focus solely on those turrets/hulls, upgrading them, and then you should have a pretty decent garage.

I have multiple accounts other than this one. One of them (username megamaster2007) has thunder mk3-10 wasp mk4-10 (I feel stupid about investing into isida because m1 fully upgraded wasp makes mk6) at Sergeant-major (max gs 4006). Other one (user magnustester) has hammer mk4-7 dictator mk3-9 at WO2 (gs 3622) and another one (shellshock_yt) has mk3-9 smoky and rail (and scout electromagnetic accelerator) and wasp mk4-3. (max gs around 3300). My main account, this one, has max gs 5005 and 6 mk4s, as well as mk5-8 viking (and notably 4 skins). I kinda cheat on my main account because I use Microsoft rewards to get free gift cards but I haven't spent anything out of credit card yet). I have not spent on any other accounts.

In my honest opinion, the in-game economy is not stable right now. It's a little hard to plan for the future. That being said, most of your chosen mk5s will quickly lose effectiveness at higher ranks. So while you are fine for now, if you're talking about being "positioned" for success, it would really depend on how much you have in the bank - parked away in containers & crystals. You need to aim for kits (turret+hull+module mk7). After that there are 15 or so steps of MUs on each item the cost of which can be mind blowing, especially when the rank to rewards ratio will not improve/suffice.

When i was a lieutenant colonel i had 5 M2s fully upgraded. Thats why i got 5 MK7s in the Mk update and also why i had a 9k GS at major general

Yes. 

When I was in your rank, I only had Rail+Hornet both M2 with sandstone paint. It provided protection against rail, thunder & shaft. I actually had few other paints, but sandstone was the one provided me with best protection

I haven't bought anything. I must say, the change from M1, M2, etc to Mk1, Mk2 did help a lot. Now I have Wasp Mk6-10, Firebird Mk5-10, and some Mk5 modules (one is about to become Mk5-5).
