K/D still counts in parkour.

 

And we need to deal with another problem, spawn killing in unbalanced team battles.

Devs probably like those killers entering Parkour with their drugs to kill others just to improve their K/D. There's no other explanation why this issue still exists.

 

Think bad and you'll probably be right.

Come on, guys. The developers have better things to do, including HTML5 and those bugs and glitches you guys are always complaining about. Think about it - is there any other mode that disables K/D? Nope. The devs would have to write entirely new code to fix this problem. Besides, people who are trying to build their K/D generally don't parkour, since they're mainly people with alts trying to get a 10,000/1 K/D, not people wasting time in parkour.

WOW now we have this section added  Welcome!  , WHY ?

 

What is wrong with the Wiki and the Help sections all the info is there all ready . This just will added more places for players to troll others . why not fix other issues with in the game and clean up the forum by removing sections we no longer use , seeing most players only go to some threads and sections why not down size . The forum has been dying for sometime now .

This section was added to welcome new players to the forum. From within the game, they will be directed to this section, where they will learn the basics about the forum (and the game), step by step. This has been done to prevent players from being blown away by the many sections and subsections the forum has. Trolls will find their way on the forum regardless how many sections we have, having one more won't change that. 

Fixing game issues is not something I can do, nor am I responsible for that, same goes for every moderator that helped with the section.

Lastly, this new section is one of the first steps towards making the forum more active again, not to make it less active.

Could you tell us which survey you're referring to? Most surveys are conducted via Google Forms and those can usually be answered anonymously.

this survey came out today it was to do with info on the Newspaper section / giving positive or negative info and on how to improve it,  and no you cannot by pass this part of the survey due to it has a Red **  you have to answer it or it wont allow you to go pass it..

True, we know, but once they get HTML5, matchmaking, and mobile done. Then that's the next priority.

Then stop bugging them about it. I'm betting there's at least 50 posts about removing K/D in parkour - and that's only in this thread. Look, I don't have a personal vendetta against you. I'm just trying to defend TO and I hope you understand that.

What is going on with the servers? It's been kicking many players out of the game and only 5k players are online, so what's up with this?

 

I hope it's the implementation of HTML5, otherwise, really devs? <_<

Cleared client cache and it's still the same.

 

Now I'm uninstalling, deleting appdata and reinstalling...

I still have around 50 screenshots of chat where some priviliged players from this community weren't banned when they needed to be banned,and you bann random people for nothing,I allready complainted months (and years ago) while I was active player to admins,it's pointless,you know that as much as I do

 

this paragraph was more or less pattern how avrage EN chat mod was "doing" his/hers job

 

about you,

 

you allways hunted players from region you are from,sometimes fair,but in most of the cases you punished heavily for nothing..and when you needed to punish them,nothing ever happened,at least not significantly..I have 2 players in mind,maniacitm and armijabosanska..while you were on chat

 

but,as I said before,it's mpointles to fight against the system,you know that better then I do :)

I've asked the newspaper administrator @Vikingsrallentando about it, and this was his answer:

 

"If people reconsider things after they have already submitted and decide to submit again, it skews the entire result. We can't tell if its a unique individual or not without nicknames. And if said unique nickname does not exist, do we count that is an honest submission? I think if someone is so worried about anonymity then they best not submit. We take the community's opinion very seriously, and will accept any and all tankers willing to give an opinion. This is to ensure those who have submitted are heard without being drowned out by flood."

As far as I know, no one in this game is "privileged" and everyone is banned according to their violation. True, some violations on the chat do pass unnoticed but that's either because the moderator is too busy to see everything that is happening at that moment or because he/she is afk. In any case, if you feel that a member of EN community staff is not doing their job properly and your complains to an admin didn't help, you're welcome to complain to tech support and/or EN Community Manager @Cedric Debono

 

No one is "hunted", everyone knows that EN chat moderators do not chase bans nor are focused on bans in the first place. But if players break the rules in the plain sight of the moderator, it's logical that the action will be taken. To ensure the best service possible, most helpers of this community are multilingual and can altogether cover more than 40 spoken languages (some helpers speak 3+ languages), so no one can expect to escape bans because they are profane in some language other than English (although they do try). 

 

So yeah, there is a "system" which is maintained to make sure that offenders are kept at bay and players have an enjoyable atmosphere to socialize and play in. "Fighting" it means you're set on breaking the rules. Please don't do that. As long as you do not break the rules of the game, do not swear and insult, there's nothing you should be worried about.

I don't know what your point is then, but you're welcome to pm me or my colleague to set the issue straight. 

well,I'm sure you do,but,here's the trick,i'm here about 1 hour in total per week,just to see what other nonsences can devs make in this game,and I'd rather spend those 60 mins to share my opinion with others on forum,then to have 1 sided discussion via PM..this way,people can see in public what I wan't to say

 

I don't wan't to be bullied by this game anymore,I stopped 15 moths a go,I choosed not to be head ** by this game anymore

 

you may or may not remember me,but I talked with you via PM or in game chat several times about this game itself and about moderation of it..

 

and you still defend the system..which slowly dies

 

about the SYSTEM,as you are reffering to it..I wasn't talking about game rules,EULA and similar dumb things this game is bombing  players with,like no other MMO game,changing EULA with ratio once per month

I think you're misunderstanding the way this game works - helpers are here to discuss things with players, find out their opinion, ask what specifically they like or dislike, make the players feel heard and understood. That's the most important part of the moderation. We then forward their feedback to community managers who then forward it to developers. It's up to developers to decide what to do with that feedback. So helpers have no say when it comes to sales, promotions, purchases and marketing decisions of the company nor are in the position to be convinced they are above anything. Helpers are simply an organised team of players volunteering their time to help the community and cannot be hold responsible for the updates of the game. If you however have an issue with their work and feel they are abusing their powers, their admins, Community Manager of the community or technical support of this game are the people for you to complain to.

That's the most important part of the moderation. We then forward their feedback to community managers who then forward it to developers. It's up to developers to decide what to do with that feedback. So helpers have no say when it comes to sales, promotions, purchases and marketing decisions of the company nor are in the position to be convinced they are above anything. Helpers are simply an organised team of players volunteering their time to help the community and cannot be hold responsible for the updates of the game. When I think of Developers, what comes to mind is the people who design and implement (program) the ideas for the game.

 

Are they the same people who decide what ideas and features need to be implemented?

While it is true that this topic is for complaints about the game, it is not true that this is the place for complaints about moderator or admin's work. 

Rule 4.4 of the game rules is clear on that:

4.4. It is forbidden to publicly discuss the activities of Assistants of Administration in the Game’s Forums, Chats, official groups in social media. All complaints on the work of Assistants should be sent to an administrator of a respective assistants group;

While it is true that this topic is for complaints about the game, it is not true that this is the place for complaints about moderator or admin's work. 

Rule 4.4 of the game rules is clear on that:

4.4. It is forbidden to publicly discuss the activities of Assistants of Administration in the Game’s Forums, Chats, official groups in social media. All complaints on the work of Assistants should be sent to an administrator of a respective assistants group;

Look I'm not going to get into this with you or others , but what if the Admin you need to chat with, have you blocked then what and where do u go ??

Most helper groups have 2 admins, in those cases I'd advise you to contact the second admin. If that's not the case, then you can take it up to the community manager or the help desk, like also mentioned.

So you don't want to speak with anybody? But still want someone to deal with your problem?

If this is about the form where you have to give your nickname, don't you worry, put "notapplicable" and you're done.

You're nick is not relevant, we are just interested for feedback, not need to alarm the whole planet about confidentiality. It's ran by the community for the community.

which would be logical if tech support would block hacks and saboteurs,battle mods would actually do their work,chat mods wouldn't closed they eyes on their friends behaviour..

 

devs defend staff,staff defend devs..a circle..magical circle of one little universe which doesn't accept anything suggested from outside (let's forget about few impelements from I&S,they are more or less insignificant) their own little universe..

 

those are the reasons people are leaving..do you really think that all those people complaining on staff (for example) behaviour towards them is some kind of plot against staff?..don't insult anyone inteligence by confirming this question please

 

ofc,staff behaviour isn't only reason why people are leaving,dev recent updates mostly forced 'em out..but,let's be honest here..as I said

 

everything in this game which lead players to rage quit was in most of the cases (and I really think quite big percentage of those cases) is caused by System as I describe it..

 

about stupid rule which "forbids" people to discus staff behaviour..although Alternativa has right to do that,isn't it kinda ******ED (Cooper stay off this post) to ban people from discusion about everything?..doesn't that alone PROVES everything I said in last few posts??

Kindly show some respect to the people who are providing your with help and are listening to your complaints, even though they don't have to, especially when the one you're snubbing is an administrator of this forum. And please learn that this is not a democracy, Tanki is a game, a project of a company and it's at that company's discretion to decide what you, as its customer can or cannot do.
