The most fun you've had in Tanki

Let's take a breather from all the negative posts here (even if I agree with some of them) and take some time to share fond memories of Tanki, specifically those which were the most fun!

Some of mine include:

  • Playing in Madness for the first time, circa 2012
  • Going to the old secret room in Pass with a friend
  • The Black Friday 2017 Container glitch, where black boxes rained from the sky nonstop. Sadly I didn't open them because I didn't know what they were :<
  • Community events (Tanki Race, Grill Party, Frost Sprinter are my favorites).
  • Open testing of Crisis

Playing in the test server from 2015-2017.

The most fun battle I ever had was a 6 v 6 Garder XP/BP battle in the test server that lasted almost the entire day with new players every few hours. I don't remember it being toxic. Jokes and compliments were made. Most were laughing and just having a good time. Whenever someone had to leave it was heartfelt goodbyes all around. I'll never forget the bliss I had in that battle.

Well, when i played tanki, i had fun. Tanki is the fun for me. I remember, when some friends told me about it, i created a n account, and played for 3 hours non-stop because it was so fun (≈ end of 2014). I was a real BIG noob, but i had fun, and that's the important. The arrival of TO mobile was a completely new world for me. I was around only at W02 (pretzy low rank for that many years), and i just ranked up and ranked up. I have to say that i am much better on mobile tuan on PC: i used to have a 0.2 k/d in general (before i started playing tanki on mobile), and now, it's 0.85, which is pretty good comparet to how low it was (my monthly k/d was 1.4 last May, but now i don't know because there are no wars/conflicts.) The next, really important part of my history is when i entered MS. This is a place where i have big fun every day, and now, i can't imagine tanki without them. So i have to say, the 2, the biggest fun i've every had in tanki was when i played with my friends at the really old times, and now playing (and talking) with other MS members.

My first battle ever which was in fort Knox DM on my first account, Killer2_the_best in mid February 2014.

Creating my own tactic with thunder and calling it suicide bombing before the self destruction penalty was added.

Spending countless hours on Monte Carlo map using hornet and railgun on main account in late 2015 because I spent most of my life in the game back then. Which is why rail and hornet is among my most used pieces.

Getting my first solid m2 combo on my main account in the new years holidays 2016 sale.

Getting my first solid m3 combo on my main account in mid March of 2019, even if I had to use my wallet.

My first time playing the game back in around 2010.

Coming home from school where I'd sneak some Tanki in when I should've been working ecstatic to play some Tanki for real.

That one time circa 2017 where the Gold Box drop rate was glitched and they would constantly drop during every battle, to such a degree that both sides would abandon the objective and scramble for as many golds and containers as they could grab.

Monte Carlo, Camp, old Madness, Noise, and all the other maps the developers swept under the rug and subjected to concentrated machine gun fire for ten minutes.

Finally getting some money for working at my dad's shop and getting the game on mobile, then buying some of the things I always wanted.

In 2012 Madness map after watching a lot of Gold Box videos, I thought that I become pro and can do like them, a lot of enthusiastic about playing and catch golds, I joined Madness and see gold drop from the sky nears me, my heart is beating, I was too hurry and scared about gold, and like what I learn from videos I jumped to catch the gold before even he comes near me I jump when he high in the sky and for sure lost it?

until now I learned my lesson and in every gold, I care about this point

I guess the most fun I had was when I played TO along with my (real-life) friends. It was from 2010-2016 when I used to play the game alot with a close friend of mine. Sadly, he quit some years ago since he didn't enjoy the game that much anymore, mainly due to the fact that he had already reached the Legend ranks twice. I, on the other hand, have played this game on four accounts and still haven't managed to reach Legend 1 in those 10 years...

Time spent in eSports content helpers. Oh my that was a great fun. A lot of experience made for future life and a lot of important lessos learned. Will always be thankful to Marcus that he accepted me to the team and to Glow that he trusted me at the early stage and made me team ledaer.

Playing Polygon CP XP/BP in 2015 & 2016. Definitely the most fun I had in Tanki.

April fools celebrations with increased gold drops (any year).

Buying Legend kit from garage.

Camping with my Rail-Hornet in old Rio map when I was in low ranks (in 2015 & 2016). I could 1-shot-kill most enemies & had the best k/d ratio in that battles. Often, I go to enemy base from beach & spawn kill them with DD from beach. They couldn't attack me because I was far away & they didn't have much DA supplies.

Playing Sandbox CTF, Wave CTF, Hill CTF in 2015 & 2016. I used to play in the same map for half a dozen battles & it was super fun because each team had only 4 players.

Watching players with Picasso, Africa, Hohloma, Emerald, Inferno, Tiger & Zeus paints. They were very powerful because that paints granted them a lot of protection and also they looked super cool.

Most fun in particular years:

In 2013, everything was new and exciting fun

In 2014, playing hours long CTF battles with Shaft on the Lost Temple map, both with drugs and no-drug

In 2015/2016, playing Polygon CP in XP/BP format

In 2018, joining a clan of relaxed adults and playing PRO battles together

In 2019, being an early adopter of the Gauss turret (not least in MMS in combination with Hornet)

In 2020, playing with Vulcan and Heat Immunity, Hunter in PRO and Hornet (with Defender drone) in MMS

Most fun, timeless:

Playing no-drug battles on the Rio map, for the gameplay and for the people to meet there

Flirting with female Isida players

Sniping Wasps

ahh i remember back in 2015 when i joined, being a low ranked noob having to not worry about supplies and drones

playing with my friends (who have all left pretty much) for hours on sandbox, noise & island thinking about how we'll never reach the higher ranks because they are tough

years later here i am, a colonel, i never expected in a million years to reach this rank but i did it

i still think the same about legend, i will never reach that rank but once i do, i'll realize how easy it was... or was it?

My favourite tanki moment was probably when detroyerRocks (the legend ranked player who spews spam in the tanki chat) told the chat about Tanki X being discontinued soon.

This had happened during last year in the month of September. My curiosity peaked by this sudden revelation so I decided to check out Tanki X which I occasionally played too.

I had not played the game for months and when I saw that it will be closed by the start of 2020, I was a bit saddened by it. But, then I saw a link to the Tanki X forum. After reading the content of it I learnt that all Tanki X players will get a super-promo code. That promo code gave us 50k crystals (they were like tankoins) and 5️00k crystals.

I used that and purchased as a lot of things (but sadly, the game never worked well on my PC so I could not check out all the stuff I had bought).

I read the forum for more details and saw other Tanki X players expressing grief. But then, I saw a message that said something in the lines of, "All tanki X players who had played in June/July will get a promo code for tanki online on their registered email address. At that point, I was equally excited and anxious. Anxious because I was not sure if i had completed all the conditions applied. I did not remember the last time I had played that game, not was I sure about linking my account to my email.

I decided to take a leap of faith - had the same feeling when you open a container and hope for something good. Will the promo code be there? Or not?

Turns out Tanki X did send me an awesome promo code. I saw the listed rewards in the promo code and I was naive enough to think that he promocode will work like conainer, hat is i will only get one of all those listed items. I really wanted the 10 days premium. So i hoped to get it when I put in the code. To my surprise, I got all the super prizes instead of just be of them. I was super happy!

After that, I completed the challenge and claimed all the gold tier prizes. I also completed the conflict of September. I got hornet and hunter skins.

A few months later I got thunder and Viking ultra.

Lol destroyerrocks total noob, slaughtered him many times in battle and made him run more than once. Complete joke.

I joined 2012 end like. Started to use rail wasp then got to know about freeze. Lost two acc and created this one in 2015 like. My fav map used to be Highland(also got first goldbox there). Loved playing in Atra and Camp CTF and also in pass. My favorite moments in tanki were and still is when playing in large and medium maps while chatting with other players.

It was easy to reach legend rank back then, but kinda hard now because higher ranked players have drones & stuff. But it's not impossible at all. I wish you good luck for your journey to become a legend mate. You know, legends never die... ?

It's super hard you meet an English speaking player in battles now. Earlier we had separate EN & RU servers

There are so many fun moments I have had in the game, but like in every game I played the most fun I've had was when I was just a beginner and everything was new to me.

When ranking up was a big deal and hearing the gold box siren would make my heart beat... I miss those days!

Spending the summer of 2018 honing and perfecting the art of Shaft, back when DM and solo JGR still existed.

Then, of course, creating the only Shaft-dedicated clan in TO history.

Most fun I had playing this game, was when I was still a child. When the game was an entirely new and exciting journey for me, when I used to play with lots of friends of mine, when I was dreaming of my favorite tank I would get at the end of the ride; when I had little to no true obligations and was actually free. Things seemed to be so free and innocent.

Now 10 years later, I have more important stuff to do, mostly studying. I am about to obtain my Bachelor's degree in some months (hopefully) after which I will be starting a Master-study. Besides, I need to maintain my social life and I am still discovering things about me and life itself. Nowadays, I need to spend my time more wisely and on a lot of other things.

Man, sometimes I miss childhood...

yes, I feel like you too I think I waste my time in this game but the difference I started the game some later in 2012 after the game become more stable with a hard players base and less problems and glitches

For me, it was during the Halloween 2017 celebrations.
Me and a friend of mine, Samayan1, had our very first gold rain together due to the special missions tanki had at the time that rewarded gold.

And then a day or 2 later, me and another friend of mine, Diamondcreeper159, out of sheer coincidence, bought the same paint on the day paints were 50% off. That paint was Electra and it ended up being our favorite paint.

Also it was from this event onwards, that me and Diamond's relationship as friends started to grow exponentially.

Today, although we live 3000 miles apart, he is my closest friend.

Many times in the past while I'm browsing random channels, I found in comments some accounts have a "Tanki" picture. I convert into an enthusiast after seeing that, and I wished my game "Tanki" become more popular.

Now more than couple of year haven't seen any picture of a channel for Tanki, except in Tanki videos for sure.
