Don't forget that i think it is an outdated rule, since many things got released from TX, because it closed.

I agree that Tanki Online needs better and more modern graphics and visuals. Apart from people that experience nostalgia from the current graphics, the game itself is not appealing-looking and is visually relatively outdated. I have seen advertisements from TO at e.g. Instagram from which I expect that Tanki tries to recruit new tankers, if Tanki Oline wants to compete with other browser-/online games and  appeal new players, I am convinced that TO's graphics and visuals play a very large role in it. Personally, Tanki X looked way better than TO visually; if it weren't for TXs downfall I would have given up on this game and started playing Tanki X. I think that adding graphics from TX regardless would make the game a lot more appealing. 

But besides the sceptical rule that TankiX-features are not accepted, are developers considering to update the game's graphics to match a more modern-looking game? If not, how so?

There are three things I think we can expect in the (somewhat) near future:

• Updated models for turrets and hulls in the style of Ares and Ultra skins.
• 3D bushes (these were teased in a few vlogs).
• A few maps in the game currently use a new lighting system. It's reasonable to assume that it will be used on more maps in the future.
