Where is Tesla?

Ah, it seems the devs are taking their time with another one of their marvelous inventions. The new turret, Tesla, was revealed in June, but since then, no word. Why so? Here are my thoughts.

So, if you remember, Ares took quite some time to be released into the game. This seemed to be so because developing a hovering hull for the devs, was new. Ares was the first of its class, with Hopper being its other, hovering companion.

Now take a look at Tesla, and you will see where im at with this. 

It probably would be nice if the development team gave us updates on the turret on the regular, so we know what to expect, rather than being silent about it. Likewise, I will not force them to do this, as the devs shall do what they must to continue progress with the turret.

But in all seriousness, we the community are long overdue for a status update on Tesla. How is the development going? Are there any problems? When do you expect the turret to release?

Tesla development has been postponed for the time being, since there are more important features to prioritise on. This is why there have been no news about it lately. As soon as work on it continues and new information is available, developers will be quick to share it with us.
