Celebrate the New Year in Tanki by completing special missions, and participating in the Crusader giveaway!

 

Details:

 

From 02:00 UTC on the 4th January to 02:00 UTC on the 11th January, the game will receive daily special festive missions.

Tankers who complete them all, will participate in the Crusader giveaway! 

If you skip one of the days, you will not participate in the giveaway, although you will still be able to complete the rest of the missions and get the rewards.

 

Supermission: Master of the Arctic

• Complete «Icebreaker», «Sparkler», «Iceberg», «Capture of the Year», «Snowball blaster», «You are my best Christmas present!» and «Fireworks show» missions.

Prize: 3 ultra containers, 10 stars and participation in the Crusader’s giveaway.

 

From January 4th 02:00 UTC till January 5th 02:00 UTC

• Mission: Icebreaker
• Task: Destroy 50 tanks using melee-range turrets (Firebird, Freeze, Isida) in matchmaking battles.
• Prize: 10 stars

 

From January 5th 02:00 UTC till January 6th 02:00 UTC

• Mission: Sparkler
• Task: Capture 5 flags in CTF mode.
• Prize: 10 stars

 

From January 6th 02:00 UTC till January 7th 02:00 UTC

• Mission: Iceberg
• Task: Destroy 50 tanks using short-range turrets (Twins, Ricochet, Hammer) in matchmaking battles.
• Prize: 10 stars

 

From January 7th 02:00 UTC till January 8th 02:00 UTC

• Mission: Capture of the Year
• Task: Capture 5 points in CP mode.
• Prize: 10 stars

 

From January 8th 02:00 UTC till January 9th 02:00 UTC

• Mission: Snowball blaster
• Task: Destroy 50 tanks using medium-range turrets (Smoky, Striker, Vulcan, Thunder) in matchmaking battles.
• Prize: 10 stars

 

From January 9th 02:00 UTC till January 10th 02:00 UTC

• Mission: You are my best Christmas present!
• Task: Destroy 5 Juggernauts in TJR mode in matchmaking battles.
• Prize: 10 stars

 

From January 10th 02:00 UTC till January 11th 02:00 UTC

• Mission: Fireworks show
• Task: Destroy 50 tanks using long-range turrets (Shaft, Gauss, Magnum, Railgun) in matchmaking battles.
• Prize: 10 stars

 

On January 12th, we will choose winners using our randomizer tool. These tankers will get the highest modification of the new fully upgraded hovering Crusader hull available at their rank.

Notice how they're intentionally vague and don't mention anywhere the number of people that will be drawn from a hat and receive the new hull fully upgraded at their current level...

Then they're probably going to say "Well, it all just depends on the number of participants," but that's a statistic that won't be publicized to any degree, meaning they could do their best to choose as few winners as possible to still suffice the guidelines of the contest, but not so few that it will get people wondering whether they are intentionally choosing a small number of winners to avoid giving out anything for free...

 

All I would say is your better off playing whichever Matchmaking mode you personally do best in to earn as many crystals as possible to buy the new Crusader hull once it comes out and Micro-Upgrade it fully yourself, rather than trying to win it from this contest.

You don't have to lose nothing, so why not trying your luck? Or maybe some players won't benefit them, if they got crusader from ultra containers and already micro upgraded it.

It's surely interesting but why make these missions a one day thing... Like just make them all available at the same day and done deal. Some people are busy on other days and still would wanna participate, we all have lives and it can get close sometimes. Other than that whoever wins is hecka lucky, the percentage gonna be below 1% for sure! GL to everyone!

Is it 3 ultra containers daily or after doing these missions until january 11th? It is so confuse. Also, i think tanki should gives crusader to everyone who complete these missions or to no one, so then it would be fair to everyone, why should someone have it and another not? Luck biased isn't a good thing.

If you win, not only it will be Mk7 on your Legend account, it will be also fully MUed as well. (I hope I understood that clearly from the last sentence of the announcement)

Today 5 flag mission,

tons of OP criss hopper, and battle almost full 9000+ , barely survive 5 sec when go for flag w full supplies.

just made 5 flags, 3 as one man carrier when enemy is slight easier and 2 as 2nd support carrier, as no single can survive all the way home and safe for capture.

Surprisingly I actually completed the 5 flag mission yesterday, and it didn't take too long.

The rest of the missions will be smooth sailing from here (Control Points is my favorite mode, I have Vulcan, Striker, Thunder Mk7, I can destroy the Juggernauts using my Viking Mk7, and I have Shaft Mk7)

I don't care about Crusader, I just want the Stars and Ultra Containers.

Capturing the flag in the past while the game was something balanced, was really hard. Toughy and requiring a hard time. But now, with the incredible buyers, incredible ODs like Hunter/Hopper, EMP Gauss and others. Capturing one flag is a really hard mission, unreasonably hard, I left the CTF for a long time. 

Yesterday with the 5 flags capturing mission, maybe it took from me 1:30 hour, to finish this mission, the game is really ruined in CTF, I were really about to capture a flag, before an inevitable hopper just stunned me and with the jump over my tank returned the flag without any ability of me to do any anything, 3 seconds you stopped me from playing letting the Hopper to do anything while my flag is in the ground. Not to mention the amount of mults, omg while I was about to capture the flag, there was 2-3 or 4 mults chasing me, want to flip me and take the flag, consistently behind me, luckily I captured the flag eventually after an inventible death by a Viking OD, the funny thing I noticed another player in opposite team complain about the mults in their team
