I'm done giving my opinions in the forum .

I know its only been a month and a half, but ever since I've returned, the forum community mostly felt very hostile and unfriendly.

Some welcomed me back, which I appreciate.

But most of the community made me feel like I was not welcomed. Every time I disagreed with someone or suggest an idea, someone would hurl insults at me, try to provocate me (which worked), or laugh at me for no reason other than the fact I did something that they didn't like. Its gotten so bad that it has even made me toxic. Even some of the players I used to know has gotten more toxic.

 

The I&S section is so weird. They lock your idea up if it has more than one change and ask you to post one change per topic. They would also ask you why you want a certain idea to be implemented before they even publish it. Like seriously? We didn't have to deal with this in the olden days.

And off topic is kinda dead.

Anyway, it was nice seeing you again: @Maf, @TheCongoSpider, @BloodPressure, @Bydo, @monkeyburn, @At_Shin, even @RIDDLER_8.

It was also nice to see a few new friendly faces in: @Unleash, @LambSauce, @numericable.

So thanks to those that are mentioned for not being so hostile, and having fun with me in the forum.

I'll still be playing the game though. And occasionally check the forum for patch notes and vlogs to stay updated.

Hopefully the community will be better eventually, but for now, guess I'll keep my opinions about the game to myself.

Anyway I wish you all well in your time on the forum.

No problemo mate, it cost nothing to be nice to people sharing an interest in a game that we all enjoyed it once. I agree with you that idea and suggestion has become weird and mostly people who do creative ideas get laughted by the one who just watch the game fall and do nothing but like in real life, there are people that lead and people that follow, altruistic people that actually help and people that get helped, those people are the one that follow (beta), not more, just dont pay attention to them, for me, the forum is just a distraction that i have to go through because of the pandemic situation, when it gets better i will be done and everything will go back to normal, and i know it, that's why i dont take it seriously :)

I see you mentioned "dead" and toxic a couple of times. Let me ask you, what do you expect from a game with dead playerbase, bad community management and others? The international community is a literal playground for some who have already established themselves in some places and they think they are untouchable which is true. The company just put someone who has no idea of what he is doing or qualifications with really a minimum wage scheme to handle stuff. You get what you pay for and I believe they will realize this when this game suffers the fate its destined to reach. The difference between the International community now and when they had someone who knew what they was doing before in the past is huge. The RU community is still what it was. 

And oh please, wannabes or whatever I don't really care of your opinion so don't quote me and spill out the vomit you were gonna write.

Well, when I first left back in December, basically everyone was friendly and respectful. And I expected much the same. Is it really too much of a task to treat others with respect? I treat people with respect until they disrespect me or others, then my respect for them is lost.

RU community was always known as the most toxic community (that's why I said they didn't change) but international changed fast, let alone players but the puppies with authority also became toxic.

I understand your frustration but it's almost impossible to change this now. You will most probably leave this game in the near future if you are feeling down from just these stuff happening on the forum. Either you get used to it or leave it that's how it is in Tanki 2021.

Yeah, you're right, leaving the forum is too drastic of a move. So instead, I'm just not going to state my opinions in the forum until it learns to be much less hostile. So I'll stay, but only to have fun.

Thanx for the encouragement, I've decided to stay, but take myself out of serious discussions well at least from the game discussion. Guess I'll be posting alot more off topic. Memes, trolling, forum games, and the occasional discussion in off topic.

Honestly I see you posting alot in I&S, I have read lot of them but couldn't remember them all. But honestly I believe that some people should be kicked and slapped for their opinions, so maybe you did say one of the horribliest opinions that deserve a kick

Honestly, I think the ignore system should be improved to where the blackened (lets call them that) would not be able to react or reply to you nor would be able to comment in your topic. 

Lol, imagine the amount of insults and provocations I would receive if I posted this in I&S.

Instead I've decided to stop posting in the I&S and about the game mechanics.

Also, I want to partly dedicate myself to warn newcomers of the dangers of the game discussion section.

These dangers already convinced me that its not worth it to voice my opinions in I&S and about game mechanics. And I'm not that easy to convince like that.

I actually got a better suggestion, why are you holding back for only giving out opinions? They are not rule breaking right? If the 12 year olds getting pissed, doesn't matter mods or players and you actually see that you didn't do anything wrong. How about this.. JUST FIND SOMETHING NEW. 

Tanks is literally dead and won't last long, don't you think you should find other hobbies, or games even to invest your time in? Find a place where people actually appreciate your contributions instead of this rat hole. You returning back to the forum right now just shows how addicted you are to it. Find another forum, find more things that you like. This cardboard shooter is not the only game out there or community. 

 I highly suggest you to discover more before you become insecure of yourself and of your opinions just because of 12 years olds. You see me here right now, but fr I'm here only to comment on your topic since I hate players being treated like this for nothing. Otherwise I'm playing games more worthwhile or watching anime.
