About Updating Your tank

What I want to know is if your updating your tank from Mk3 to Mk4 what's the difference it makes with and without fully updating like Mk3 to MK3-7 and then buy Mk4. And another is just updating by buying Mk3 to Mk4? does your tank get extra power when update like Mk3 to MK4 ( + the points you have got by updating ) and when you buy next MK and does cristal cost gets low because you updated it or it stays same both cristal cost and power?

Consider this, your Initial Destination is Mk3 and Final Destination is Mk4, now you have 2 paths from which you can go to your final position. 

1st Path: Buying the whole Mk4 modification at the instant for crystals by spending a large amount.

2nd path: Buying small steps or "micro-upgrading" the tank from Mk3 to Mk4 by spending a small amount of crystals step by step.

Note 1: Either you are upgrading by path 1 or path 2 , the total amount of crystals used will be the same (excluding speed-ups) which means if you are buying your Mk4 kit for 100k crystals, the total crystals consumed after micro upgrading the tank will be 100k crystals only. (Again, excluding speed-ups)

Note 2: There is no special increase in power by either using any method specifically i.e. the total power increased from Mk3 to Mk4 is same in both paths.

@ShadowMonarch one point too remember as well 

when micro upgrading anything in ur garage plz don't rank up 

cause ur upgrading an mk3 into mk4 and think the rank for mk4 is warrant officer 5 and u upgraded 5 steps( mk3 - 5) and ranked up to that specific rank of warrant 5 then u need to buy the whole mk4 at the original cost the cry u spent to upgrade will be lost .
